  1. just a piece about 100mm x 75mm and say 4mm thick mate...i want to replicate the curve in the cowling with enough to sink the cruise switch hence the size. - - - Updated - - - Cheers Richard;)
  2. I bet 90% of blue smoke is blocked or partly blocked PCV valves...shocking idea to think that 2 small mechanical valves is the stop gate from a pressurised sump direct from the boosted plenum and then rely on a gravity return oil system from the tubs. recipe for disaster!!!
  3. You had it at the right place Dicky if anyone else was doing it anyway:cool3:
  4.:lol:...Roughly i used 4mm on everything (vacume and boost) on pipes where its a little tight just put the end of rubber into boiling water and its a done job.
  5. Yep you can iff it passes through my workshop:yes: Machined on the lathe to fit inside the OEM hicas ring and a small adaptation to the self canceling disc. Oh and a sly glance of my S2 interior:cool3: Looking for a nice little piece of carbon fibre to insert the cruise buttons on top of the wheel then its done.
  6. thats what i needed to know Dave...where it interfered with under the car.cheers
  7. I seem to be running around in circles here....am i right in thinking 3 hole NA pipes will fit a TT with normal S1 elbow,s (without precats)..also are the auto and manwell pipes the same or not. put simply whats out there without going the divorced elbow route for a LWB auto:confused1:
  8. if anyones going to know the limits of the wall i think jimmer will know...having said that iff they sell 90mm then ime sure its been tested.I think its only steel liners into alloy blocks that it starts getting serious on wall thickness like Rover V8,s
  9. Thats a fab set-up and something i have,nt seen before.
  10. great thread dicky and the mods mate:cool3:
  11. jesus for a moment i thought you had a full size truck in the shop...
  12. Nice soft rubber vac pipe Dave and keep all the radius curves nice and slack...in the door clipped to the back of the speaker plate and after another gentle radius into back of gauge.
  13. as above..the most awkward part is getting the boost pipe through the cable trunking from car to door.Nice little mod without having another gauge pod on the dash or in the radio din slot:cool3:
  14. What a machine and that colour is fantastic....the best car Nissan have ever rolled off the floor i think. Iff i was certain the interest rates would stay low for another 3 years ide buy one tomorrow
  15. tell him that actually no products exist and he is upsetting what should be a straight forward scam being carried out by yourself.
  16. Ive also tonight adapted a N/A steering wheel boss so that it fits the TT with cruise controll without touching the slip ring...anyone intrested i will do a thread. Big thankyou to Silversurfer who kindly sent me the wheel boss for free,Cheers bud:bow:
  17. lifters should be stored fully submerged in clean engine oil right side up...place them in a tray or bowl and after a day or so the air pocket underneath goes up and bleeds the old oil out and fills them with new oil.
  18. well either your spline is goosed or your taper:tongue:
