  1. The missus and i drove to Andy,s place this morning to pick up a pair of the rear lights after he has worked his 99 spec magic....Fantastic piece of kit and with the LED,s in the light chambers it gives a crisp modern look too. BTW his TT slicktop shorty is a gem of a car:thumbup1:

  9. people get confused when they hear the T/C locking up on these auto,s and think its an extra gear when in actual fact its just forming a direct drive from the crank to the prop...Does sound nice thou when your feathering the throttle and it locks then you nail it:cool3:

  12. thats my thinking too...the stone chip is a long cure type of coating at the best of times given its elasticity so cold and put on thick and its going to take a good while to cure

  16. yes yourself and Sir Charles are correct in naming the Micra as a great car...ex-wives and my daughter and years ago even my dear old mother have owned one and they are amazing cars for being reliable and economic

  19. yea but it also stops it running back along bottom of sump and dumping drips everywhere:tt2:
  20. jack it up slightly to put the sump plug lower on one side....unless you remove the sump all the oil thats out will drain in the 1st hour as the plug is raised from the pan bottom
  21. ime sure you can get at it from underneath and from the back facing forward...failing that not a massive job clearing pipes from top and going down
  22. LOL i never meant it "to buy"..P38,s will ruin your day but the classics you cant really be serious over relibility issues,there the Daddy of the era they were built in as long as you keep with the 3.5 not the 3.9,s.
