  1. 50 % plus the tints already on the car will probably take it up to around 70% at least, and will stick out like Jordans upper appendages, very easy to spot and will attract attention without any doubt!!! the "old tints " if your on about the manufacturers tints are in the glass and cant be removed without replacing the glass.. which I doubt very much are available with zero tint. sorry to refute your knowledge as a professional installer, but as a professional de-installer ive met a lot of people who've been told a lot of crap about the legality of tints and it's cost them a lot of money and inconvenience.
  2. tbh you wont get much of a tint on the front side windows to keep them legal, you probably will find that they are already around 20% tint, youd hardly notice any difference that a 10% tint makes other than your wallet being considerably lighter. some of the Scottish police forces are issuing fixed penalty tickets as well as you having to remove the tints, dont know whats happening south of the border, and there is also the question as to what an insurance company would do if they had to pay out and found the windows illegally tinted. You decide :)
  3. reminds me of coming into land at Bristol airport in a gale once, looked out the side window and found I was looking straight down the runway... about 50ft above the tarmack the pilot swung the plane round and made a perfect landing.... had me fookin worried though
  4.   do you mean the suspension tension/tie rod???, hope you do or theres something fookin missing from my motor
  5. bought mine 2nd hand one from a trader and one from a member around £35 to £40 if i remember correctly. Have you checked the arms on your car yet?
  6. once I replaced them the loud cracking noise i was getting stopped.
  7. check your lower suspension arms where your tension rods bolt attach, my motor was doing much the same, I put it down to the pads moving slightly in the caliper until I found this
  8. could be the starter sticking (not disengaging from the flywheel)
  9. looking at whats already been done, have they checked the basics like look for a fooked tyre or wheel, they say theve balanced them but if they are out of shape you will get vibration, mabey worth swapping the wheels over just to check them
  10. after a quick search Address: Unit 3, Bonnybridge Industrial Estate, Murnin Road, Bonnybridge, Stirlingshire, FK4 2BW, UK Telephone: (01324) 813287 Fax: (01324) 815806 worth giving them a call to see what they can/cant do
  11. There used to be a specialist in Bonnybridge who made up propshafts, pto etc. sure they should be able to rebalance your propshaft.
  12. looks like a good walk, hope you enjoy it, its supposed to be cold and windy tomorrow so hope youve got the right kit, and take plenty hot soup :) . If your into hills you should come a bit further north and try some of ours, theres lots of nice little walks up here, like this one for instance.
  13. sounds like it......... but theres always an element of doubt :D
  14. Nissan are about £40 if I remember rightly, think you can get a seal kit which will keep the price down and this ebay trader is doing them http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-300zx-Twin-Turbo-Fairlady-Clutch-Slave-Cylinder_W0QQitemZ230100652140QQcategoryZ10402QQcmdZViewItem worth giving MJP a try as well

mines done 150000mls and no problems yet...... and Ive got a pug turbo diesel thats done 215000mls, used to have a rover vitesse 2.0l turbo over 150000mls on that and no sign of any turbo faults. worked on lots of trucks with over 1/2 million miles with the original turbos.. and at the same time seen one or two pack in with less than 100000k...these were usually down to drivers not giving a shit and reving the engines from cold to build the air pressure up, then shutting the engine down without letting it idle, it was always the hashy drivers who had problems look after the turbos treat them right, dont put too much pressure on them and change the oil regularly (quality oil) and the turbos should last well over 150000mls more if your lucky

A lot depends on your local police force some seem hell bent on stopping anyone obtain a licence and make it as awkward as possible, others are a bit more sensible. obviously security is a major factor as is your record, you will also need a good reason to obtain a licence........ "because I like guns, an I wanna shoot things"..... aint what they want to hear. look around your local area for clubs etc clays, or rough shooting syndicates are probably the way for shotties. Because you will need to show that you have somewhere to shoot. I do smallbore target shooting there are plenty clubs around if you fancy that, and the benifit is that you normally can use club rifles which lets you see if you like it before forking out on your gear
  19. :hurl: no ****in thanks!
  20. Imagination I always liked this one dont know why :D its a bit slow to get started though makes up for it with a few nice shots http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WWwWIKHZ04
  21. My son works in a bank he told me some of the other banks are refunding money to customers who complain and are then informing them their accounts are being closed  nasty bit of petty retaliation
  22. you dont always feel warped discs at lower speeds, so could still be them. when you get the vibration is it through the steering, the body of the car or can you feel a pulse through the brake pedal ???
  23. Nice motors and I fancied one until I was in a BMW workshop one day and noticed an 850 getting engine work done I was told the owner had just bought it from a market and on the road home the engine blew, he had paid 15000 grand for the car, a new engine was being fitted as this was going to work out cheaper than the cost of the require repairs price of engine 15000 grand  fook that Ill stick with the Z
