  6. what do you call a deer with no eyes and no legs...... still no idea. looks like a bargain buy for somebody..... and good luck with the move!
  7. Yes but my usb ports have packed in, so I cant download them, need to fix this fookin thing as well as the Z now. PS. only a couple of Z's there so not many photos
  8. Fook was it muddy on the way out from the car park, needed a push at one point. hope you guys managed out the show ground ok
  9. Ahhh the memories, loved my Manta, 2.0ltr Berlinetta SR, beige velour seats and trim, as opposed to the hideous tartan fookers in the later 1.8 berlinetta, it was a great car in its day.
  10. looks like its gonna be nice weather for the show :( , better take some waterproofs.
  11. Nobody up here that specialises in Z's that I know of, theres not enough of the cars around here. Hypertec in Bonnybridge (01324 812 212) is about 10-12 miles from Stirling, seem to do a lot of jap performance motors. Ive never had any dealings with them so cant comment on the quality of their work. Then theres Calder Motor Company, think thats the name, East Calder about 35mls from Stirling who do a lot of imports, heard mixed tales, and a few people on the forum not been too happy with them. To be honest if its pretty much standard work required, any decent garage should be able to carry it out, ask the people you work with to recommend a good independant local garage that they are happy with, there must be one or two in the area who can do good work and won't fleece you just because its a Z.
  12. Ahhh its polyurethane quick light a fire under it, the resulting shape will no doubt be more pleasing to the eye than its present state.
  13. Yep got to agree it makes it stick out, but for me deffo in a bad way. :hurl: £80 quid was too good an offer IMHO. youd have to offer me an awful lot more than that to have it fitted to my car.. and then it would only be for a short time...............that is,until it comes back out the garage :)
  14. Id have the TVR, not sure about the rover though!
  15. Mine came with a quick cheap fix, they were covered with black electrical tape. looked ok for awhile until it started to bubble, I took it off and back to black'd them. the tape trick would be a quick fix for those with the rubber surface perished
  16. Thats why more and more are getting broken up for spares, because people who are buying them cant afford the cost of repairs and try to recoup money by selling for spares.......which is really good for those of us who work on our own cars, lots of cheap spares, and all the time less and less Z's :)
  17. :D as they do.....
  18. Right I will set the meet time to 09:45 at Bothwell services (south bound) It dosent look like there is going to be a great attendance, I'm going to be in my daily driver so thats another Z down. Can everyone wanting to meet up at Bothwell please post so that we know to wait, just incase your a bit late. Anyone else attending later we will see you in the park. Andy if you still want to go gimmie a shout and I can pick you up if you want.
  19. I take it you dont want to nip up to our meetings then :D
  20. Not if he wants to attend our meets, fooking long drive though!

:slap: to self, moved this to the theard I meant to post it in
  23. And I used to fix those tankers :D As already said, the oil companies aint the cause of the high prices, its the fookin rip off government, they take by far the biggest cut from the cost of fuel without any of the overheads. then they have the cheek to try and blame the companies. robbing barstewards!
  24. :slap: moved to where it was supposed to be :o
  25. also worth making sure none of the piston's are seized in the calipers. seems to be a common problem.
