Window tints are not checked at MOT. Garages dont have the means to test the properly. Police on the other hand have light meters and can issue a fixed penalty for having windows that are excessively tinted. Also in the event of an accident you could be held liable, or have your insurance refuse to pay out. Not preaching, just offering some advice.

Ok guys we will put this on hold until January. I for one cant manage it, its going to be a couple of days before I can get my alternator back. And given the safety concerns you all have (apart from Berrica) it may be for the best.

Ermm I might not be able to now, in fact I might not even be able to go. My alternator has packed in on the beemer and I'm struggling to get a replacement. Nobody has one in stock or the parts to repair it. Some are saying they are unlikely to get a delivery before xmas now ! That would suit me now, but others will have arranged to get away from work early

:(.....Most of these places are much the same tbh, but they are handy as you dont really have to book. Decent restaurants are looking for confirmed bookings with a deposit at this time of year which is hard to do if you arent really sure on whos going to be there. And look on the bright side its a step up from KFC and McD's As the new guy its only right that all the slagging comes your way, so we will just find something else :), its all part of the club welcome.

Livi looks to be as central as we are going to get, done a quick search around Harthill without much luck! dont really fancy venturing into the unknown of Coatbridge, Shotts or Wishie. Hows about next Thursday, I just need numbers to book somewhere........do we need to book at the colonels ? :)
