Antera 309's
I know a few on the forum have these, is anyone running 10" rims on the back, if so any issues running them? Ive just picked up a set, 18X8 front and 18X10 rears ET35 all round. Trial fitted them today and it looks like once I get tyres on its going to be really tight at the back. Probably have to reshape the exhaust slightly, for starters, anything else to watch out for? Stainless trims are missing, but I can live with that at the moment

Hmmmm....I didnt realise VOSA wielded so much power, there you go you learn something new every day! Janus, Independant assessor and trading standards is probably the best option. Though try and get it done asap and try not to put a lot of miles on the car. The more it's been used the weaker your case will be. The problem with going down that route is it cost's and there is no guarantee you will get your money back :(. Hope you get things sorted out soon.

Rusty Coilovers...
Is the nut alloy? looks like it in the photo. Bad news if it is steel and alumimium tend to react over time (electrolitic corrosion ) and can be a *u%$ to free off. Alloy tends to become a bit brittle with age as well so be wary of applying excessive force. best to keep firing WD or the likes on it for the next week or so in the hope it penetrates down the threads

DVLA dosen't do mechanical inspections to my knowledge. Think he meant Vehicle Inspectorate which is now known as VOSA. Unfortunately unless its regarding a dodgy MOT VOSA is unlikely to get involved.

Wheel spacers incompatibility *WARNING*
Wouldnt say that was caused by the nuts being steel, more like the facing's between the spacers and nuts were incompatable, or the spacers just had not been properly fitted
