lol I'm always out of funds for the Z, though I did a little work on it tonight. I de-badgered it..........went over one of the fookers on Saturday night. A bit of spirited driving on some twisties, came round a corner and it was lying deed in a heep right in the middle of my side of the road. Didnt want to swerve at 60 odd mph so tried to take it centre on and hoped I would go over it. It might have worked in the BMW but the Z is too low, the fooker caught the broken front edge of my undertray twisting it back, then proceeded to splatter itself along the underside of the car. Sneeked the car into the work tonight, and picked of all the blubbery bits before the maggots start hatching. And also had a good look around the back of the engine area incase the undertray had scooped up any big bits, heed guts or similar. Undertray is now in the bin, so need a new one

lol I thought Glasgow was the west! :) Do you mean you want to go into Glasgow itself or some of the surrounding area Hamilton etc thats kind of halfway for us all (depending on who is going) If you meant Glasgow itself then I'll get the train and have a few beers Wait a bit and we will see who all wants to come along. I was begining to think you had given up on your project, nearly there is it ????

Suggestions please....last year at Dalkeith wasnt bad however it aint very central for the west coast lads. Is there somewhere midway that anyone can recommend. Probably best making it around the first or second week after that everybody tends to get a bit busy. Thoughts please.

Yeh will wait a week or two to see who wants to to go to the xmas outing and will decide from there. Who fancies a meet the last week of October?

Tried that once on an Iveco truck, lucky the little inserts went up the way and didn't go down the workshop or they could have gone through someone ! as it was I'm surprised they didnt hole the roof :oops: Went back to the pin technique after that and gave the 140psi a miss :)

Andy has already replied :) Hows about going one better and having 2 meets before Xmas, one in the first week or two of December, we can go out for something nice to eat. The other before the end of October and we can go to the KFC or similar, (gonna sorn the car when the tax is up at the end of the month) As you say there are more and more guys from the west now so it would make sense to meet halfway. What do you all think?

A good day out, thanks to Andy, Lee and Archie for turning out. It was good the show orginisers placed us in our rightfull position.....in front of the Scoobies :whistling:....they were a nice bunch of guy's though! It could have been a bit warmer, but hey it least it was dry. Hopefully they hold the show again next year, its well woth attending. ps. Archie fingers crossed!
