  1. Some Pre-bodyshop preperation. Previous owner of my shell had deleted the Slicktop roof trims. I quite liked the way it looked, but over time filler in the channels had cracked, so I decided to take it back to stock... Thick filler :hurl: A few hours later....
  2. I have a pair of Genuine Impul SWB sideskirts for sale as I've decided to go a different route with the Slicktop sides. Includes door Fillers. They do have some damage on the end of each skirt from where they've been knocked about in my garage, photographed below. Looks bad, but its an easy fibreglass repair. Fit SWB (Targa/Slicktop/Convertible) only. Asking £200 ono. Shipping would be £15 or can be collected from Oxfordshire.
  3. They are the same :thumbup1:
  4. Im after a pair (Left & Right) Upper Door trims from a Series 2 onwards SWB in Black ie. SWB Trim without the Seatbelt hole. Same as below, but without the hole as Seatbelts are on the B-Pillars.
  5. The price looks fair to me, although I feel some better photos would help. The grey is a nice colour but its not easy to photograph at its best and can look a little drab and dirty without the right lighting and scene. You really cant compare modern day Semi-Autos with older 90's Autoboxes. I have a Semi Auto Paddle shift in my Bmw 335i and I would'nt have it any other way its a fantastic box and like night and day to the Z autobox. As these older cars become even older, rarer and more collectible the Manual will only become more desirable. Look at older porsches, the autos are much cheaper as nobody wants them.
  6. Im after all 3-pieces (Left, centre, right) Genuine 99spec Rear Lights. Unless anyone has an immaculate and very convincing set of 99spec replica converted lights ?
  7. Yowser posted a topic in For Sale - Parts
Before I go an order a new one from Z1, does anyone have a New/Unused Complete EFI Loom for sale ? Manual and new-style injectors preferred, but not essential.
  8. It depends where in the wiring the fault is. Usually its between the engine bay connector and the Knock sensor, so you just bypass it at the connector. You can also bypass it directly at the ECU.
  9. Cobra Imola S Fixed Bucket seat Includes Sidemounts I will also include some low height sliders, modified for bolt in fitment to the 300zx. I've had this a number of years but its had barely any use, and all the cloth is in fantastic condition. The rear has some scratches (see pics), and would only need a light spray paint to be like new. £150 Collection from Witney, Oxfordshire. Postage may be possible, would need to look into couriers.
  10. All in one door handles and vents ? The changes in door cards (other than material) include the addition of arm-rests and moving the seatbelts to the B-Pillars.
  11. Relocating is pointless, it will either fail to detect detonation or get false readings. OEM location or Bypass.
  12. These Moman's are probably the first aftermarket dial covers for the Z32 I like. If they do them up to 180mph then perfect. Did anyone purchase any yet ? http://moman.pl/eu/nissan-300zx,178,219.html
  13. ooh, yes - very much along those lines. Thanks
  14. Im going to go through the components to examine whats possible but potentially a Tapered Rebore with accompanying larger diameter brass throttle plate, and either turn down the shaft diameter or half-shaft it with shorter bolts. All in the aim of improving Flow CFM with the stock bodies.
  15. Stripping Throttle bodies for cleaning and modification. Set a friend loose with an angle grinder.... Its going to need a lot more cleaning, degreasing and prep work before paint.
  16. Me too, curious to see what final price ends at.
  17. Early development car - Check out that terrible early intake pipework routing
  18. Twin...Turbos...kick...in...... was a Lie.....it was actually an NA, and its up for sale here : http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nissan-300ZX-Base-Coupe-2-Door/112000838712. Never been on the road, but damaged from the jump in the advert !
  19. Interior cleaning this afternoon. Having been untouched for the past 6 years the interior was covered in a fair amount of cobwebs and mold ! Killed the mold with a white Vinegar solution spray, then cleaned up with a gentle soap using a toothbrush to get right into the short pile Alcantara cloth. Left to dry in the sun.
  20. Picked up engine parts from Powdercoating. Shotblasted and done in Satin Black. Various parts - Headlights strips, camgear plates, balance bar, waterpipes, camcovers ..etc A few pics of some of the parts : Unfortuntly the 4 Cam covers showed quite a lot of pitting after shotblasing, so may have to source some replacements. Also had the Plenum shotblasted only for now as not sure on the final finish and colour to proceed with yet
  21. Dissasembled the 24 Lifters into their individual components and cleaned. Reassembly tomorrow.
  22. Very impressive Gaz, looks great !
  23. The breakdown is accelerated by the amount of exposure to air the fuel is subjected to. So a Full tank will degrade slower than 1/4 of a tank because there is a smaller volume of air within the tank itself. There are other variables between suppliers too, related to additive content in fuels.
