OMG...thats rediculous. That car was sweet. That cant be right...what does the paperwork say about time to collect b4 disposal. They should of definaly have notified whoever was the current listed owner before doing such a thing.

Thats normal. Your Climate control display should also dim. Its so that they are not too bright at Night. Thats fine for when it is dark outside, but for when its just raining or getting dark and you put on side lights, it dims so much its hard to see them :(

Hi, 1. Definatly get one that replaces the OEM A Pillar. It looks a lot beter, like standard fitment. 2. Zcentre and I believe getgreddy can supply. 3. Guages - Boost, Water temp and Oil Pressure are the 3 most important. All Zeds have the Oil pressure as standard, but many replace as its not accurate. 4. getgreddy can supply. I have these, http://www.autogauge.com.tw/web/products/categorysub.asp?categorysubid=26 but find then hard to see in Bright sunlight. 5. I prefer PSI, but whichever you can read more easily I guess.

I'd say price seems fair, especially for its year, but depends on mileage. If its higher than 100k, then that will bring price down. There are so many low mileage examples out there, it does'nt make too much sense to buy a high mileage version. I certainly wouldn't spend anything less than £3.5k on a zed, and you should expect it to need work for that money...and no way £2.5k, unless its a project car and you know its faults.

A sad thing to hear...but the 300zx is a very strong well built car. There have been previous posts about this. I'd fancy my chances in the Zed over the 200zx, scooby, evo, rx7, fto..etc..etc

It turns heads everywhere it goes, people come up to you all the time and ask you about it (usually questions like "wow...nice, what is it ?"). Performance is inspiring and it feels special to own and drive. You have to expect it to cost a lot more than a 200sx to run and maintain though. There are some very good Zed specialists, and this forum is a invaluable resource. Check out the "Meets forum" section. Pop along, speak to fellow owners and get a feel for the cars. Good luck with your decision.

Very common problem. Bin it, its a dated looking spoiler IMO anyway and ruins the zed lines........go smoooth......or 99 spec :)
