My 90 T/T import has developed a problem with the speedo, when it reaches a speed of 70mph it cuts out and won't restart until the car slows down to about 30mph but it doesn't do it all the time and its doing my head in. I changed the speed sensor on the auto box, admittedly for another used one off a scrapper and it made no difference, anyone got an idea.

Does your steering go Stiff when this happens. If so then its likely to be another faulty speed sensor. If it does'nt get stiff then its probably bad connection on Instrument cluster.
