Valuation...
I'd say £6k ideally, and a penny less than £5k would be a giveaway...but with everyone selling them at stupidly cheap prices its hard to say.

Plugs
NGK PFR6B-11C are suitable for boost up to 1 bar or the NGK PFR6B-11B may be a safer bet if your raising to around that level.

G-Tech Results post up..
I did 6.1 secs with my G-tech in completetly stock car, but that was when it had nearly bald Jap 225 rubber and I had far too much spin, and it was snaking down the road in 1st gear. Have since sold the g-tech, and installed Nissan Datascan software on the in-car computer which does similar tests, by monitoring the ECU Speed signal sensor. Will do some runs in the dry soon with 255 F1 Rubber. Also got a 14.8 secs 0-60 ! in the Wifes Scenic 1.6

Do you display tax?
could always get a more attractive Tax disc holder than the usual ugly things. I have a very nicely made Round stainless steel holder with Z logo on the back on mine. See this link

Rattling drivers window (fix)
I checked this on mine a few weeks ago, and the bolts are tight. Is there something else to adjust/check to stop them rattling when they are open and you shut the door ?

Do you display tax?
yep, as Sgt C said - The Offence is not to display a Valid Tax disc. I have been done before for it - Fined by traffic warden. Was about £80. They were'nt interested that I had a tax disc, but only that it was'nt displayed.

Lightweight Pulley
I helped fit one last week on Greg's car. He said it definatly revved noticably quicker and he could feel the improvement in acceleration.
-
Lightweight Pulley
most people woudl say to avoid the ones on ebay. Most have no timing marks and at that price they could be badly balanced.
-
Lightweight Pulley
Less load on the Crank to spin, so quicker revving....meaning quicker acceleration and about a 10hp-12hp increase.

Help!! Code 34!!!
Code 34 is definatly Det sensor. Nothing else can cause it. It means Faulty sensor, or a break in the connection between sensor, harness and ecu. The best way to test it is to bypass it with a 1 megohm resistor. There are instructions on here, and its very quick and easy to do. You can either leave the bypass in there, or cough up the money to get it replaced.

300ZX or....
You'll find a lot of the slagging off, is due to such an offensive comparison. Your comparing a 165bhp FWD Coupe (its not even a proper sports car) to a 300bhp RWD Japanese Supercar. The only thing I can say is that the Ford would be a lot cheaper to insure, run and maintain..for obvious reasons. if £2k is your Max budget, then forget about the zed. £4k+ for a reasonable early example as prices are so cheap at the moment.

Insuring ZED as 2nd car
..but..how would they know ? If you had an accident, on the way to work...when you fill in the claim you just say you were on your way to xxxx, instead of work. not that Im suggesting insurance fraud is a good idea ;)

Racelogic Traction control
But the great thing about the Racelogic system is that its adjustable while your drive, you can alter it to suit your driving style/mood and road conditions...something that most (possibly even all?) Modern car traction control systems do not have.

Just Want To Say Hi
I know the feeling, there is so many things I want to get done to the car, but I only ever seem to get a the odd thing here and there done between each meet. See Rides section. Mine is fairly stock at the moment in comparison to most though. What sort of work are you having done to yours then, or is it a total secret ?

Just Want To Say Hi
Welcome Karl, We tend to meet once a month, usually on the last sunday of the month. The Next meet is Sunday 24th April in Puriton (J23 M5 near Bridgwater). The majority of South West members that come along are from the Bristol and Gloucester area, with a few of us in Somerset. We have other members further down in Devon and Cornwall, but the SW is such as large area to cover. Look forward to meeting you and the zed sometime soon. Cheers, David

Tockico V KYB Shocks
Eicbachs are a popular Spring choice with the KYB's. I dont know anything about the Tockico's, but I believe that the KYB's are usually easier to adjust that many of the other brands (especially in regards to the rears)
