Blimey,
Sounds good Mike, How bad were your o2 sensors...completely dead or just lazy ? Conzult shows a lazy LH o2 sensor, compared to the Right on mine. At idle it does'nt move at all, and at 2000rpm it responds slower then the RH sensor. Just deciding wether its best to change mine.

Aftermarket Exhausts
The 1st 2 problems with using generic halford items is a. The hanging mounts would be in different locations. So new ones would have to be welded on. Also the pipe position/bends would differ depending on where the stock ones were cut and welded to new pipes. b. The bore size of a Halfords generic exhaust, which is really designed for Corsa's and Escorts...is going to be smaller. (the pipe and internal silencer bore, not the tips) Then you have to take into account its flow characteristics. With a Turbocharged car you want as freeflowing as possible. But these items were probably desigend for NA cars where you have to maintain a certain amount of back pressure. Exhaust backboxes can improve power input, depending on wether its more freeflowing or not. But its the replacement of the full system that improves flow the most.

I'd be interested in seeing the figures that Performance Car Magazine gives

60-100 mph
Well according to this site, stock 60-100 is 8.36 secs http://www.car-videos.com/performance/speed.asp?Speed1=60&Speed2=100 for comparison, it lists the Mk3 Supra turbo as 11.9 secs Although, These are all stock times ofcourse, and your after modified times.

Finding a good one?
Welcome, Its true, there are a lot of bad examples out there, and its those that are bringing zed prices now. Leather is standard on UK models, rarer on Jap imports, but a 2nd hand Leather interior can be picked up for around £300-£400, or http://www.zcentre.co.uk do some nice Leather retrims. Aircon/Climate is standard, at least I've never seen one without. Cruise is optional, but most have it. Running costs - Expect low 20's mpg, more on gentle motorway journeys, less when playing. There are plenty of excellent traders on this forum for new, used and Performance parts, which significantly help keep costs down. Although it is a Supercar that was just shy of £40k when new, and that is reflected in running costs. Sales ended in the Uk in 1994, but production and sales in Japan continued to 2000, and In 1999 it had some facelift changes. Most notably being the 1999 Spec Front bumper and rear lights which are a popular upgrade. Insurance - Im 25 and Pay £650 a year with Admiral Most of the well cared for examples pop up for sale on this Forum, but there is always the option of getting a Recomended Importer to source exactly what your after from Japan. The newer the car is, the rarer it becomes, as production decreased each year. Good luck with the purchase.

Bodyshop pictures and price of pin stripe
Looking good. I'd have the line filled and smoothed, rather than applying a new pin stripe to it. IMO it significantly updates the appearance.

99 spec Clear rears - bulb info?
I got regular Amber indicator bulbs from Halfords. Although Looking at the car out my window now, you can just make out the orange bulb inside, so best to go for the Silver ones that light up orange.

SWB TT whats it worth
Dont think they are standard, look much thinner, but its a bad pic, and I dunno why anyone would fit smaller pee shooters on it

SWB TT whats it worth
I would of said around £5.5k-£6k but there have been plenty of very low priced sales lately..usually becuase the sellers only use this forum to advertise and become desperate when they dont sale (which is mainly becuase there is a small buying audience on here, compared to somewhere like Autotrader)

April Meet (24th) Puriton
Right, an update on the April 24th Puriton Meet. Time and Venue change The reason for this change, is that I was noted today how full their relatively small carpark became on a sunday and it would not accomodate an extra 10 cars at that time. Club 37 - Social Club - Puriton Time : 1pm Date : Sunday April 24th Directions : M5 Junction 23. At the Motorway roundabout take the A38 Glastonbury turning (left at roundabout if coming from the north). After 50 yards, take a left into the Village of Puriton. Take the main road through the village, past the local shop(s), keep on going thru the village, until you come into the countryside. about 200 yards later take the small turning on the left, into a kind of Industrial estate. Club 37 can be found on the left handside, with carpark. If we could meet in the car park at about 1pm. They normally close at 3pm, but dont mind staying open later if were still there. This a social Club on the outskirts of Puriton. Bar, Food, Pool..etc They have a good sized car park and I have discussed with them about us using it as a Meeting venue for this month. There is a Guest fee of 50p per person once we enter the bar, which I dont mind paying for all, and the rest of you can fight over who buys my drinks ;) lol Note: Its a relatively small family village, so best to take it easy as you travel through it If anyone gets lost, I can be reached on 07843 601404 Let me know if you have any questions, or there is a problem with this new meeting time. Thanks, David Hope to see everybody there.

ECU upgrade
Definatly stick to an ECU upgrade by one of the zed specialist traders, that one on ebay is'nt any cheaper anyway. Too much risk in going for a ebay job. Optimax is Shell 98 Ron fuel...its the only fuel I would ever use in the zed....to prevent any risk of detonation...and running higher boost demands higher octane fuel. Jap Imports are mapped for higher octane fuel (they have 100 octane fuel available over there and the cars are mapped to use that fuel)...Super unleaded is the minumum even a stock Import TT should be using, but I've only ever used it as a stop-gap between Shell garages. Uk cars can get away without Optimax on a stock setup, but its beneficial to use it anyway. you'll also notice improved mpg running optimax, which more than makes up for the extra cost.
