  1. any supported NMEA GPS Receiver should be fine. Plenty on Ebay. check out....http://www.mp3car.com , a great in-car computer forum, but it covers the info u need about GPS on Laptop. ..or send me a PM
  2. Except their Burgandy(..ok, cherry red then) and Blue
  3. A 19 year old driving a 300zx with 5 people in it.....errrmmmm Not the best handling.....compared to what ? certainly better than the RS Turbo it hit, and 95% of every other car you'll see on the road. :xxx:
  4. A Rival for Bee Gee Vinz
  5. Congrats. The Blueflame exhaust is a Mongoose, so a good purchase.
  6. It will be RWD first. Im unsure about wether they would want to then go FWD or 4WD next though.
  7. Cheers guys. From the pics..etc I think I've now decided on how I want to do it...its just having te actual time/skill to built now :( Chris, you've already spoken to the guy on TT.net about his enclosures, and he refused to ship them ? Found the link to his designs, very nice : http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=classified&msg_id=86136
  8. Yep, details here : http://aus300zx.neuralmotion.com.au/tech/Alarm.htm Cant believe u never noticed it before...it did my head in, removed it as soon as I got home with the car.
  9. If Kenny agrees, then ofcourse count me in.
  10. There were 2 big old blokes driving...dual control ?
  11. I had planned to mount my 10" sub in the centre of the boot floor (with a new false boot floor build, occupying the Spare wheel indent space. Just realised thats not going to be possible, as the spare wheel well is'nt really any deeper than the standard floor and there is large protusions in it. Looking for ideas for a custom sub enclosure that is discreet with the Zed boot...anyone have designs, pictures templates....or is anyone offering their services at building one ? ;)
  12. But many cars dont have them under the bonnet anyway. My Bmw has it under the Rear seat, and the Wifes Scenic is under the Drivers Seat(that one took me a while to find!) What you should do is keep a point under the bonnet where you can seperate the positive battery point lead. You will also want to keep a Positive point under the Bonnet for Jump starting..etc
  13. I use the PDA version of Destinator that has been intalled into software called MapMonkey, allowing it to work on PC. (yes, thats a Black Zed being used as my Vehicle pointer :)) I've heard good things about CoPilot Live laptop 7
  14. Yowser replied to a post in a topic in General Discussions - Non 300ZX
and mines going in for Rear Main seal and Exhaust manifold leak repair on the day before :wack:
  15. Bump. Just a reminder. Its this Sunday.
  16. Thats not the Cable that comes from the New Zealand/Australian company with Datascan, its a very different design...so u may find it could work with Conzult. However Im sure you'll be happy with the Datascan software :)
  17. No, that would only stop the Tea's being made :x:
  18. Not done either. But I'd say Track.
  19. :headvswal :xxx:
  20. Carbon on Grey or Black..yes. On Other colours, I vote no. The majority of people will think the car simply has mistmatched body panels waiting to be sprayed.
  21. You can buy blanking plates and Pockets to fill the gap. See http://www.zcentre.co.uk/interior/radio.shtml or gauges :
  22. I looked into this before....and saw quotes of £800-£2000 The Zcentre kits are exactly the same as what an Upholster will do, except with the Zcentres you have to fit them yourself.
  23. I used 3 Metres of Black leather-like vinyl to replace all my tweed. Plus another metre for mistakes. Cost was a bargain £7 per metre from Fabric shop.
