My poor Z
Totally agree ! During belgium trip, Chris's rad emptied its contents over the road till it was dry, and the temp gauge sat at halfway the whole time. If it was'nt for his aftermarket oil temp gauge he would not of known till it was way too late.

Why cant people give an honest description
Unfortunatly there are a lot of bad examples of the 300zx out there. Infact mine looked like it was a walk-away jobby when I first arrived to view it. I had spent the day travelling acros the country to see various examples. It was filthy, both outside and inside and had huge deep scratches in the bonnet. The seller was a Dealer/Importer, who told me the scratches were done on boat from japan, and once I'd driven the car I realised it was by far the best I had driven so far. Turned out to be a great example, let down by bad seller. Bonnet was replaced and Its much cleaner now :D

LED version of stock/99spec Rear lights ?
How hard to do, anyone know of anyone apart from these guys that do it : :slap: Noticed the latest revision of the E46 Bmw today, with standard looking lights, but they light up as LED. Looked great, and very modern. I want !

is it me or is every one selling there zeds at mo ?
Only reason I would sell would be if another zed came up for sale that had most of the things done to it, that I already have planned for mine. Would certainly save me a lot of money and headaches.

Well peeps
Been trying to convince you out of this for a long time now, not that you have'nt been doing the same to youself...but understand the reasons bud, and its Family that comes first. At least you'll still be around zed's all day, and on here in your usual post whore form Im sure ;) Fantastic example of a very tastufully updated Zed and well looked after. She is a credit to you, and worth £7k+ all day long. All the best, David

Engine running in - opinions?
The 300zx enthusiast manual mentions something about this, and shows a pic of zed on the dyno, but I dont have the book with me at the moment to read full details, somebody else must have.

Timing Tweak
To be honest 19 degrees is pushing it. Especially with increased boost, and you run much higher risks of detonation. an extra 2-3 degrees, with the correct maps will see a healthy and reasonably safe power increase both off and on boost. If your running 25 degrees base timing, then you need to get it adjusted asap...very dangerious. Get yourself a permanant Boost guage installed, as there is always a risk of spiking when running boost jets. Reduced boost when you tested could of been simply down to ambient temperatures, or it may be that the jets you have installed are too big. Every car reacts differently to different size jets.
