south coast meetings anybody?
http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?p=451206 Put your names down for all those interested. We'll see about setting up a Joint meet. Bournemouth, southampton and Chicester are the closest options to the SW I believe.

South Coast Meet this Summer
Have chosen Bournemouth as the most westerly option, as it would be great to get a Joint SE and SW meet together. Will be in touch shortly. Cheers, David

bov valves...
Yes...they make the sound when you lift of the gas. Wish I had a manual for that reason. You can choose when to make the noise, instead of it doing it everytime.

I wonder if??
It would take a long time to recoup the £1.5 - £2k costs of conversion, even if its possible or not on the zed. Get yourself a cheap runaround instead. Then you can also put the zed on a classic insurance 2nd car policy and save a fair bit of money there too.

Test drove a TT
I'd say it definatly was'nt running right then. More than likely in Safety mode, which gives a very flat performance with reduced boost and timing. The retarded timing would give decreased performance before and after the turbo's kick in (so time to spoolup would also be slower), and the reduced boost would'nt offer much in the way of extra pull when they did kick in.

what are the clips in passenger footwell for??
I think it may be a legal requiement for cars in Japan to carry a flare. They are the type that you place in the road to warn others that you have broken down, rather than the type that shoots a light up into the air.

KOE trip!
I thought it was the 1400bhp Audi S2 that won it. Perhaps the Audi won street legal category...as there were cars there that were not street legal (slicks...etc) I think I remember the Black hot rod. There were some amazing cars there.

Shock top gaskets - important ?
How important are those pink/red gaskets that sit on the top shock mountings ? Car currently on jacks while I fit my new suspensions, and discovered the original gaskets are all torn and now useless. What are they for, do I need to replace then, are they generic enough that nissan dealer would stock ? Thanks, David

Tyre Pressures - is this right...
32 front, 34 rear for stock tyre sizes. I run 33 front, 36 rear with 17's Correct pressure for the 300zx depends on road types, tyre sizes and your own personal preferences. although Im not sure thats what your asking ?

KOE trip!
 Only just read this, sorry to hear :( Luckily it went nearer to home. Hope it sorted soon. Not entirely sure what the water leak problem I had was, we initialy noticed I had that slight leak from somewhere near back of engine, but after that It never lost a drop of water and temps were spot on all the way home. 1200+ miles and 35c+ heat - Reckon we did'nt do to bad for reliablity problems. A Big Thank you to Chunk and Chris for assisting with organising the UK side of things.
