Check the label on the bottom of the seatbelts (and there are other places too around the car, that I cant remember) that have date stamps on.

All those parts often fail at around the same mileage as the cambelt it due replacement. If you dont change them now, you will have to do it all over again. All the time spent in getting to the point where you can remove the cambelt, is the same for all the other parts. It would be silly not to change them at the same time.

Many Imports seems to be registered newer than they actually are. '93's dont have Airbags either (at least none of the 93's I've seen)

K&N are ok, but you would need the correct K&N for the 300zx and not just a universal one (or it would not be correct size, and would not have correct fittings). But the Apexi is the better Induction kit, and available for around £90 from a lot of the traders.
