Yours is one of my favourite zed's, cant believe your intending to sell it. Nowt wrong with spending money on the zed though :)...although if your going to be selling it becuase of money..does it make sense to spend so much money on it now ?

I've been unable to find UK sales figures for the 300zx. Although I do know that The 300zx outsold the Mazda RX7, Toyota Supra, and Honda NSX combined around the world ! ..and that the Z-cars (240z-->350z) are the biggest selling Sports car range in the world. Taking up 35% of the Market segment.

VH45DE V8 278bhp 292 ib-ft Dramatic Increase ?? Thats about the same for bhp and Torque as the standard TT engine (VG30DETT) Throttle response would be crisper and with a more linear power delivery as mentioned though. Its an appealing idea, and Im looking forward to seeing the results of the V8 conversions currently in progress.

Evo Stick Instant Contact Adhesvie. Solvent version. Buy it in a Tin from somewhere like B&Q (you may have to take empty containter to counter, and they then get a full one out of the safe (becuase of solvent abuse). Large tin. Brush it on. About £6 or something like that.

Wonder why they fitted uprated fuel pump. Stock is capable of providing enough fuel for around 550bhp at 12v.

The TT uses Hybrid Turbo's, based on the T25 but with slightly smaller Impeller wheels ? Whats the Max boost before they become innefficient..and unreliable ? The reason I ask is that I have a friend looking to buy an Alpina B10 bi-turbo, which uses a Pair of T25 tubs. They come with an In-car boost controller as standard for adjusting boost from 20psi - 26psi. And this is stock, from the factory. Was very suprised.

First discovered it by searching in March 2003 when I badly wanted to buy a zed. Family commitments meant it was'nt possible to buy one at the time. Returned in August 2004 just before finally buying my zed :)

Just Travelled from Shell Station near Truro, in cornwall, to my home in Somerset. 148miles exactly. 80mph all the way, with cruise control on. Only switched it off briefly for a couple of roundabouts. £20 (20 litres) Fuel Needle was on the bottom when I filled up, with the petrol light just coming on, and did the same when I got home. 33.6mpg :hyper: :hyper: :bow:

Yep, completely depends on the age and model. It was quicker than the porsches of the same era at its launch. and ofcourse the zed was a 35-40k when new too.

Not really any cheaper than many of the traders sell ECU upgrades for, but with them you know what your getting.

is this members who have said they would buy something..then its fallen through and they never bought it. or members who have received goods from a purchase but never paid ? 2 very different things IMO

As Chris said. No difference in performance between years...although I think 1995 onwards dropped the Variable valve timing for emissions, which may of affected its performance.

If its the Speedo convertor, than thats a little aftermarket box on the back of your speedo cluster.
