  1. Yep, but then the Supra comes out of the box with 11.5psi boost. A zed on 11.5psi will also make at least the same bhp figure. I can live with only being able to do 182mph topspeed ;) The Zed and the Supe are so close to each other, that it really just comes down to which one you prefer, for me it will always be the zed for many reasons.
  2. When I said Controls and Control unit, I meant the Control Panel & Control Amp. I can appreciate that the wireing may be different though, but not the Venting and ducting ?
  3. Why the venting, ducting, wireing ? Surely its just the Controls, and the Control unit for it that differs ?
  4. Greddy Profec B Spec II

  6. Got mine from a general Fabric store in town. About £8 a metre
  7. The Greddy Turbo timers and Boost controllers fit directly into the stock clock position.

I like them. and Fantastic drawing !
  9. Personally I would go for the Oil cooler upgrade first, as this will affect reliablity for the Autobox. then the ECU, depending on how much boost your running, you fueling maps could be off at higher boost levels.
  10. Insure the Audi as the main car, with the 300zx on a 2nd Car, classic, limited mileage policy..with the same insurer.
  11. Yep, its a feature for subscribed members, along with access to post For sale adverts, your own rides section and access to all our seperate Members only sections.
  12. How about a Budget High performance rebuild ;) But seriously, if (when?) I ever need a rebuild it would have to be Forged pistons time at the very least.
  13. Just S/H from one of the zed breakers on forum.
  14. Sure its the belt ? Mine is also very noisy, and its the bearings inside the compressor making the noise on mine. I just use it in ECO Mode (aircon off), until I find the time to fit the new compressor I have.
  15. I dont like the look of them. Prefer the pre 99 lights, and would rather spend the £200-£250 to convert them to HID instead.

Depends on budget. Stock shocks with Eibach springs are actually a good setup. For Adjustablity on budget there is the KYB shocks with Eibachs (very good for the money.) If your looking to spend a fair bit then I would look into the Tein's.

Never heard of them. Lowering the car will throw out the camber. It should be the same as stock (unless you know what your doing and want to mess around with it to alter handling). You'll need either a camber adjusting kit (spacers) or adjustable arms to reset it, and take it along to somewhere that does proper Wheel alignment.
  18. Accents of Silver plastic trim seem to be very popular in modern cars these days.
  19. Time for an oil chance. Been using Castol RS 10-60 over the summer, but am thinking of moving to Castrol RS 0-40 for the winter. My Reasonings being that the "0" Cold rating is better for the colder months at startup, where a lower cold rating can give better protection to a cold engine for the first couple of seconds. and the 60 hot rating, tends to apply to High mileage engines (less likely to leak), Tuned engines (generate more heat), and hotter months (heat reasons again). My engine is pretty much stock and low mileage. opinions ?

DTA or Smithy do these, not sure who. Have a word with them, a lot of the stuff they can supply are not on their websites.

Love the Wheelmania Vortex's, Im leaning towards splitrim multi's as my next wheel choice. Those Azev's are the ones fitted to gregs, and I think it really suits it too.

Right, looks like a Devon meet it is. However I'd like to plan this for a seperate date to the Welsh meet that is happening this month (23rd), to give those that want to the chance to attend both. I cant make the 30th, so how about the Sunday 16th October ? I'll leave this open for a day or so, for objections before setting it in stone ;) Venue suggestions.... Exeter is the largest town to the mid-way point between Bristol and Truro, or maybe Torquay, by the sea ? or if anyone knows a nice village nearby...etc..etc
  23. Me thinks this poll has been slightly tampered with
  24. Not true at all, they are Identical. A common problem unfortunatly, company finds out its an import and all of a sudden the parts are completley different and cost more money :xxx: Most Wheel suppliers will be able to supply a range of alloys with the correct fitment. The Info you need for fitment is here http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=33550
