  2. ok, I know this sounds like a dodgy question, but I've just bought a set of UK clocks to replace my Jap set, and want to adjust the miles on the new set so its correct for my car when I fit them. What is the best way to do this......perhaps it would be best to PM me the answer.
  3. Some sound advice there chris, although some of it is bad case scenario stuff. The £500 service is only every 60k miles, and in my 14months of ownership my Maintenance costs have been less than £500 (about the same cost as most of my much newer "regular" cars and a lot less than my previous Bmw 5 series) and thats using Zed specialist garages, regular servicing and having everything thats needed doing, done.

ahh...yes, u must mean the 240sx (what the rest of the world calls the 200sx) Yes, it will be cheaper to purchase and run. Good little cars, quick, and lively RWD handling.

    Welcome fella

  7. Congrats to Sasha and Leigh on the birth of their Baby boy yesterday :D
  8. The KOE meet in Belgium, followed by JAE were great..but best SW meet would of been the Ross on Wye meet...although the xmas party was good fun too....and Sasha and Leigh BBQ's.
  9. Sorry to see...although you could always see it as an opportunity for Aftermarket front bumper and uprated intercoolers
  10. Pro's - Lighter and shorter. Meaning a bit more responsive handling in stock form, but less stable high speed handling. Were not talking a big difference either way though. Cons - No back seat ;) Harder to get some body parts for.
  11. Stickers are on hold until the Welcome Packs that are currently being developed are ready.
  12. If your after Stock parts have a word with Mike @ MJP in traders sections. Std Jap REar Shocks are approx £30 each Hicas arms are approx £50 each
  13. Nope, I have'nt ;) Put the post up in the Membership and Club enquiries section
  14. IMO Bypass it, and if you ever have the engine out change it then. Pro's - It costs about 5p and takes 5mins, and returns car to correct peformance (have seen losses of 100bhp with the car in safety mode on a dyno) Cons - ECU can no longer detect det. However you have to bear in mind that it only works below 3000rpm and after that the engine is too noisy for it to hear dett. If your not running stupid boost, and the car is running right, and you use high octane fuel you should'nt ever get det anyway..and if you did, you should be able to hear it.
  15. She could be faithfull..but just enjoys flirting online or could even be at her PC with her mates, messing about. Just a thought...before things get out of hand
  16. Just did a search for "monster" and it found Mac's post on green eyed monster in off topic
  17. Hi, yep Datascan, not conzult. Although it does performs the tasks you require (Ecu check, output of all signals for TPS, O2 sensors..etc..etc). The checkup you had at nissan should have involved a Nissan Consult ECU check (the hardware/software that Conzult is based on).
  18. PTU (Power Transistor Unit). Series 1 PTU's are a weak point, go for a series 2 PTU if you can, it also comes with harness adaptor.
  19. Possibly a stupid question.....LHD floor mats wont fit in RHD car ? II dont think they will fit..but just living in hope..... cant work it out  ..wether the interior floor space/shape would be differnent or not

  21. Merry xmas ! have a good one.
  22. Be wary of Ebay rad caps (not saying anything wrong with that one, but some have experienced past problesm with those bought on ebay). Chris @ getgreddy can supply genuine Items.
  23. Zcentre's version is £200..so really that one is a bargain ;) ;)

Great cars, would like one as a 3rd car for myself. Very rare in the UK, and a decent one would probably cost more than a decent 300zx. Be carefull about believing a 30+ year old car is going to be cheap to run though.
  25. Used to use Bittorrents (various differnet torrent software) , but Find Limewire much better.
