Best brake upgrade?
2 sets on ebay right now. ;) Seem to be a lot more readily available that the skyline sets. Yep, they are Brembo's.

SW Meets - 2006
I agree....and its something I would like to address for 2006. Im thinking about dual meets in a month with different locations..not everyone would attend both, but they will cater for all. Looking at a possible Joint meet in February with the South East guys at Beaulieu Motor Museum which is near you in the New Forest between Bournemouth and Southampton.

starting to really like skylines
That GTO is nicest I've seen, but still not anywhere near as nice as many zed's IMO, and there is so many reasons I would'nt have a GTO other than just looks. Have to respect the Skyline GTR, but I would still rather have a Zed.....it just seems to me that Nissan spent a lot more investment on time and money of the design of every aspect of the zed, whereas its clear to see they only spent the money on the engine and 4wd system on the skyline and ran out of dosh for the rest. If the UK Zed tuning scene is lacking in potental, then its easy enough to look overseas.

Digi Adjuster Where?
ah..ok...I was thinking of the old unit....not the new digi one. nevermind.

Digi Adjuster Where?
Personally, I would mount mine inside my centre arm rest. I guess it all depends on often you expect to be making adjustments to it.

North Wales Police strike again!!!
The 99 spec does have a plate mount, although there is ofcourse still plenty of space for fullsize plate...so not sure where you stand on that. I imagine that rule applies more to the rear bumper, where there is only space for a Square Jap plate.

code 34
nope, code 34 is reset everytime u turn off ignition, and the ecu records a record of the past xx amount of error codes.
-
code 34
It would be a faint sound, from engine block, when its underload (like at high boost, or accelerating in 5th from low revs). The result could potentially be Melted/holed pistons eventually.
-
code 34
Like nuts and bolts being rattled in a tin can.
-
code 34
Disconnect battery for at least 30mins (longer to be sure) Although code 34 gets reset everytime you turn ignition off.

code 34
Bypassed mine a year ago. The standard one only works below 3000rpm anyway and quite often it becomes usless anyway when you fit a boost controller, and aftermarket ECU(which does'nt have safety mode maps). Plus you should be able hear detting if you ever get it. I've seen a Zed on the rollers in safety mode putting out 100+bhp less than stock.

Possible respray, different reds?
I personally dont know anything about paints..but I know that the standard red zed colour does have a clear top laquer coat..as I have seen it peeling on other red zed's.

Greetings! :)
Welcome, From the pics it looks like tailgate has been welded and filled, so you no longer have a boot..or is it just the pic ? Looks great though !
-
Possible respray, different reds?
I'd go for a really really really dark red. Thats how mine is sprayed. ;) But seriously....the best red has to be Candy Apple red. But Avoid any shade that turns orange under street lighting Bazza, yours looks like its already had a recent respray, from the pics !

first time nissan 300zx owner.....advice needed
If its just an Immobiliser your after, then I would go for the cheapest Thatcham category 2 Approved one that your nearest Alarm installer offers. If you were going for an Alarm though, then that gets a lot more complicated with choices, but you cant go wrong with the Reliable Toad Ai606.

Welcome :) Immobiliser depends on year. I dont think any were as standard before 1995. They are undersealed as standard, but its easy enough to do again yourself for extra protection.

800cc injectors
I've read a lot about failures..but more recently there have been problems with the o-rings they supply (leaking) and that the Injectors dont seem to be flow tested, and people are ending up with a set of injectors with wildly different flow rates which makes ECU mapping impossible.

800cc injectors
Very few..if any have fitted these in the UK. All been in the US and AUS so far. Some had had problems....The trouble is a problem with these results in the need for a new engine or very expensive rebuild.
