  1. Zen garage is definatly your closest, and offer it at a great price. You should of had the rest of the 60k service done when you had the cambelt done, as most of the cost is labour, and all the same labour has to be done all over again.
  2. Hicas light usually indicates low PAS fluid or steering wheel is not alighned correctly. Rear end jumping about usually means Worn Rear shocks or Hicas bushes.
  3. Nissan considered 4wd themselves. But it would of meant the car would of had a much higher profile, especially across the front wings and bonnet. I supposed with £20-£30k anything is possible.....it would ruin the car IMO though. Proper Sports cars are RWD ;)
  4. Dont forget you'll need two. so thats £240 And as previously mentionend te Zed already has them as standard, except they are recirculating versions rather than atmospheric versions.
  5. posted earlier http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=61622

  10. The Mono's ones slip over the existing cover, but it can be removed by cutting. Its glued onto the Metal shaft.

Not at all Ray, Im looking for suggestions from all SW members. Im also hoping to setup a Big SW meet, somewhere central perhaps even making a weeking of it, to get us all together. Probably in the summer months. Plus multiple monthly meets, where we have 1 nearer bristol, and 1 nearer Cornwall for some months. Not everyone would attend both, but at least everyone is covered and all have the choice as to which they attend.
  12. Hi, hope this helps http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=42161
  13. Allan...got any of the pics you took ?
  14. Nothing to lose...so we'll see. Done.
  15. True, just checked, and its pretty much identical to the zed one, except for the angle of the arm.
  16. errr....I've just realised I have a Renault Laguna  I will try it in a bit !
  17. I'd say thats the Sunny GTiR;s baby brother
  18. Welcome :) DIY Turbo recon : http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=45076 or contact either Ztech or Zen garage in the Trader section about Recon services.
  19. Safety mode is very noticable. Boost reduced to 7psi, retarded timing and Rich fuel maps. Whats scary is that many new zed owners purchase and run their car for many months before ever finding out they are in safety mode. We had a Zed Rolling road tested while in safety mode earlier in the year, it was down by approx 100bhp at the fly. Dodgy o2 sensors would also make the car run Rich, affecting performance and economy.

Becuase I felt it was conflicting and confusing, but I only made it more confusing by removing it LOL , I've put it back. ;)
  21. Thanks jon, although it was more for the fact that they are far higher engineered, with matching Springs and Shocks with rebound and other adjustablity for the track, rather than ride heigher adjustablity that I was interested in. The EDFC system for the Tein Coilovers are tempting. Being able to make adjustments in the car  I believe the KYB AGX shocks with Eibachs is probably the best setup without going for coilovers, and I have Eibach pro springs now but Im really after the best you can get (depending on budget :() in terms of handling and ride.

£5k looks fair to me, depending on condition.
  23. No. GTR is Stated as 280bhp, but are actually 300+ stock
  24. Slightly lighter, but the extra grip that the GTR has helps. But in standard form, there not really much quicker.

errr....ok Bear in mind that thats an 1.5 hours In Halfords car-park to spend looking at the Zed's in January weather, when many members have previously indicated that they wont have their zed's during that time.....just a thought. £7.95 is ok with me Is this a family pub ? In which direction is this pub ?...Halfords is over an hour from me(70miles), which is ok, but you've put that the pub is a further hour from halfords.
