MJP is going to be the cheapest in the UK to supply the original parts, as I very much doubt anyone but MJP or Nissan dealers supply them. Other option is to look at http://www.courtesyparts.com in the US. Although with their weight Im not sure it would work out any cheaper.

Dont see why not. They are just guides. Every car is different, every driver has different abilities and all depends on conditions. Car would of lost some power over the years (only seen one stock zed dynoed, and that was Gio, who got 284bhp @ fly with a mongoose exhaust), but tyre technlogy has moved on offering greater levels of grip. Quite a few owners have posted 0-60mph times under 5secs, with just basic mods(exhaust, filter, 1bar boost). Its all approximate, but a 0-60mph time is'nt a true indication of performance anyway.

Twin Turbo (Euro and Jap) 280 bhp - 300bhp 283 Ib/ft 0-60 : 5.5 secs 0-100 : 14.5 secs 1/4 Mile : 13.8 - 14.2 secs Top speed : 170 mph + (Uk restricted to 155mph and Jap to 112mph) Although, Car and Driver in 1992 got the following figures from a Manual SWB TT : 0-60 mph: 5.0 sec. 0-100: 13.1 sec. Quarter Mile Time: 13.7 sec.

if its running correctly now then (223hp @ wheels) (or 274hp @ fly) is my crazy guess

Car and driver magazine got a 13.7 out of a completely stock swb tt manual, on the stock tyres it came with (which are crap tyres compared to todays standards)

no rears are 297mm x 18mm

For a clean stock example on a 93 plate I would say anything around £4.5k as a private sale in good condition.

I reckon the german road trip will gather more interest than KOE this year. The actual KOE event last year was nothing special(we watched about 10mins of it over the weekend :rofl: ), but a full on road trip would be great.

Yep, nothing wrong with that setup. MOT tester is mistaken..unless the problem was something to do with brightness (but I doubt it, if you used standard bulb types)

Dont think its a members car. Non standard colour. Looks good. Sounds like his mechanic saw him coming though or is bullshitting.... £1500 for a Service and sounds like suspension bushes changed Then it took nearly a year for a new PTU/Harness to be delivered from japan and another £1500 to fit it and another service. £3k...Could of has a complete engine rebuild with new tubs for that (or another zed :() :rofl:
