Whats the secret to removing the bottom cam cover??
Lightweight main pulleys replace that huge pulley in centre of block below waterpump that you need to remove to get the Camcovers off. Carefull of the ebay ones though. They may not be correctly balanced. You could purchase and get a machine shop to balance it, or get one from Smithy. They have a similar affect to a lightened flywheel, although perhaps not quite as noticable, but you will notice quicker revs and response...and about 10-15hp gain. Some notice extra engine noise.

has anyone home-made a air filter splashguard?
I have no undertray or splash gaurd...and no problems with rain. Some have had problems though. Would be simple enough to create spash gaurd. The original was just a piece of plastic about size of A4 paper that sat right under the filter.

How easy is it to remove and dismantle headlights?
Hardest part is getting to all the bolts to remove headlight from car. Dismantlng is easy and does not involve the "oven" like rear lights...but a hairdryer does help.

Opinions on these mods
Thats a LOT of cash ! ...Like a small house in some parts of the UK I have'nt read it all....thats quite a list  I would add Stillen anti-roll bar (swaybars) to the chassis list What is Pneumatic suspension ? The JWT 700BB's are a popular big turbo choice in the states Not sure if the JWT Race cams would be a bit over the top for driveablity on the road though. Not a fan of the Veilside personally (its ugly and same kit fitted to most boyracer hatchbacks), but its all down to personal choice when it comes to looks.

Just bought a new Zed
Congrats on the new purchase...NA or TT ? Please tell us your going to remove the graphics. Those alloys look huge..19's ?
-
Im new - Help needed.
At the end of the day...test drive all, see which you prefer and do a little research. Obviously when comparing an Rx7 to a Zed your going to get biased opinions. I like RX7's, but I cant fit in one comfortably and the mpg, reliablity and rebuild schedules are a tad scary.

Who is interested in a Group Buy on Shocks
The NA has a softer spring rate compred to the TT as standard, but I believe when it comes to upgrading they are all the same rates.

The Biggest problem with Stock lights is that they suffer from the inside of the glass, ellipsiod lense and chrome rings becoming dirty overtime, severely affecting output.

Someone help me please!
Hi Mate, had a good look around your car while it was at Southwestzed's...some very rare abflug arches you have there and similar alloys to mine. You need to discover if its spark or fuel related. Remove each coilpack and plug, checking for spark by holding the electrode of plug to an earth while cranking engine. If one or more cylinders is not getting a spark then it will either be the PTU (which you have ruled out), PTU Harness, Connctors (clean them, they are probably corroded), coilpack, failed plug. If you have sparks on all 6, then remove the CAS and spin the shaft to see if you can hear all the injectors clicking. Check all injector connectors for corrosion..etc Common Maf failure sympton is it not wanting to run over 2500-3000rpm Best of luck
