A pleasant surprise.....
Glad you like it :D They truly are great cars , and I hope you dont mind me saying, but superior to a GTST in all area's, except perhaps practicality (although I imagine a 400hp one is a bit of a beast).

I want a Z
You will probably find a UK TT cheaper to insure than a Import NA (All NA's are imports) NA - 220bhp , 0-60 (6.5 - 7.0secs avg) , 145mph . 1/4 mile in low to mid 15 secs No idea how that compares to the Mr2. For reference TT - 280hp - 0-60 5.5 secs , 175mph, 1/4 mile in 14.0 secs(13.8 - 14.2 avg)

80 - 100mph
They have less power, more weight and extra drivetrain friction. The only reason an Auto can stick with the Manual on the 0-100mph run is because the Manual loses a few tenths of a second on every gearchange. The Manual kills it during in gear acceleration however, and in real life driving (ie not 0-100mph) the Manual is far quicker.

80 - 100mph
LOL...ok , well I meant top gear then ;) thought it was a 5 speed auto.....is it only a 4 speed ?
-
80 - 100mph
I can it try tomorrow, but I'd say 10 secs too slow, but cant say for definate. Auto vs Manual is going to be any different. Well actually, if both stay in 5th gear like you said the Manual would be quicker. Not sure what difference a Auto>Manual converted car would have. Less power than a standard Manual, but slightly quicker spool up. Prob no real difference.

Rear Wide Ass Kit Questions ?
I think it increases the wheel track by about 8.5" , so just over 4" extra either side.

Thinking of bigger power! but how?
We could do with a good Tuning/Engine rebuild FAQ. Very little info here. All the info is on the U.S sites.

I dont know the South east very well, but Zen garage will be your nearest. All the traders are in the traders section ;)

what do you think
Good choice, me like. Personally I'd go for 18's (Better Handling & Ride, with benefit of lower purchase and tyre costs).

Trying to defend the Zed.....
In fairness he said the drive was great. But he does'nt think they are that good cars because they are hard to work on and the headlights are'nt great. :slap: All the "great" cars are a pig to work on.....your talking engine-out for cambelt changes on many ferrari's, Lambo's..etc. ...and the poor lights are actually a big myth ! Yes, you all heard me right. Note how every review including owners reviews and longterm test reports from when these cars were new never mention the poor lights. Its becuase they suffer from dirt and dust settling on the inner lenses over time. Dissasemble, clean and you'll find them as good as any pair of headlights for a '90's car.

whats it worth? how big? and how much power?
Stock power - 284bhp , 278 ib/ft torque @ 9.5psi (of the top of my head) A Simple Boost increase to 1bar (14psi) with exhaust and Filter could see anything around 350hp mark. Potential is endless depending on how much you want to spend. Dimensions..no idea. May be worth getting in contact with somebody like Ztech or Zen Garage (in the Traders section)
