  1. 1. Remove steering cowl 2. Look for Locking solenoid by Ignion barrel. Its has a wire(2) coming of it. 3. Disconnect wire Now key can be removed when turbo timer running.
  2. Shit, sorry to hear :( Glad your ok The accelarator sticking is a known problem, please everybody check theirs..read here : http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=55080
  3. If you need me to store a copy at my house as a backup, then I would be willing to do so, just let me know how much ;)
  4. Thanks Mike, hope your feeling better soon
  5. There has been several posts about this in the last week, but just a reminder to those with access to change it ;)
  6. Unfortunatly not....but Im going to hook up the DVD-R if it repeats
  7. Good idea, but is'nt Hellraiser already working on this ? and the proposition has been sent to the board already,
  8. Damn keyboard ;) Yep :D see it being built in factory, then it showed each of the famous Z32 TV adverts.....but they look way better in full resolution on a Widescreen Tv than they do in low res on a PC monitor
  9. Excellent !! Pity about some innaccuracy. ....err no.. where the Z31 was dissapointing and an embarassment to the Z-car range...the Z32 was far more than a restyle, it was a completely new car that just happened to share the same name. nope, only sales to US market ended in 1996, production continued to 2000 in kapan.
  10. Welcome with 70k on the clock, be sure she has had the full 60k service. This should not only include Cam belt, but waterpump & thermostat too. If its not been done, then expect a £400 service bill.
  11. More than likely PTU. Explain your symptons exactly. MAF problems will mean either normal or rough running under about 2000rpm, very rough running 2k - 3k and wont run at all above 3000RPM.
  12. Conzult and Datascan software offer this functionality for output via USB or serial to a Laptop/PC/Carputer
  13. Hmm..mid june....thats when the Z-run Euro trip is...could meet up with us !
  14. I dont think either would stand you a chance. The Bmw z3 is not a great sports car, and would get eaten alive against modified hot hatches ...and a 1.8 turbo can easily be tuned to produce as much power as the 3.0 NA Zed but I bet it will be in a lighter car.
  15. same here ;) ..although Im considering option of sheet metal fabrication VS Fibreglass
  16. Have to be carefull with weight distribution. The 300zx is 55% front 45% rear, so reducing weight from the rear and not the front will have a negative affect on handling. Fibreglass Tailgate and Battery moved to the boot would help.
  17. Yowser replied to a post in a topic in General Discussions - Non 300ZX
Good luck rich, lets hope we'll soon have you running around ;) :D
  18. no ride height adjustment.
  19. Yeh, sounds like springs....or the shocks/springs have been put on the wrong way around, as they are angled for fitment and forcing them on incorrectly would result in the top mounts not sitting perfectly and causing a ride height difference. GAB shocks are effcectively KYB AJX shocks.
  20. Its adjustable rebound (adjustable firmness), try adjusting them..clockwise and anti clockwise to a setting you prefer.
  21. so was there a zed on TV or not ? and if so....details ??
  22. Its been going for over a year, those of us that signed up get regular email updates but no real progress yet (no card, no cheap fuel yet). It does all seem legit, although the guy who runs it is called Ben scammell !
