Newbie!!
Welcome Twin Turbo (Euro and Jap) 280 bhp - 300bhp (Jap & Uk apparantly 280bhp and U.S got 300bhp) 283 Ib/ft 0-60 : 5.5 secs (typical average) 0-100 : 14.5 secs 1/4 Mile : 13.8 - 14.2 secs Top speed : 170 mph + (Uk restricted to 155mph and Jap to 112mph) Although, Car and Driver in 1992 got the following figures from a Manual SWB TT : 0-60 mph: 5.0 sec. 0-100: 13.1 sec. Quarter Mile Time: 13.7 sec. Basic mods (exhaust, filter, chip, 1bar boost) will see approx 350bhp(fly), 0-60 drop under 5secs, and 0-100mph drop to around 12secs An excellent site shown difference can be found here : http://www.300zx.org.uk/mod_comp_0.htm The SWB is a 2 seater, the LWB is a 2+2. Its said that the SWB offers more responsive handling, and the LWB offers better high speed cornering stability. All UK Specs are 2+2 LWB Twin Turbo Targa. Imports were available as NA, TT, SWB, LWB, Slicktop(hard roof), Convertable

boost jets have gone in
Longetivity is'nt an issue. The problem with clutch is that the Stock clutch cant handle big power increases. RPS clutches are stronger, to handle much more torque. Stocks probably last 70-100k on standard power, so RPS would last longer I expect.

best looking front bumper
99 or strosek for me. I do like some others Greddy/Scarab..etc but just not the look Im after.

boost jets have gone in
No, you would fit an RPS clutch, and then never have to worry about it.

only 1 person said the Boxter 2.5 is slow, not everyone ;) HTH = Hope that helps and Peugoet's official figures are always very modest. You can take up to a second of that time.

That would be the manual. The Auto NA does'nt perform as well as the Manual NA.

Viper front bumper
Excellent job! Im was'nt previously bothered about that bumper, but that looks really good, go for it !
-
performance
yep, Auto NA slower though. (would of expected the Z32 to pull away at higher speeds, not the other way around..although the NA is quite flat in 5th gear)

Datalog Screenshots Info
Yep. Datascan is a better sensor readout tool for driving. Like having a load of extra gauges all in one interface, but with the benefit of being able to check error codes and some of the more handy tools too. Conzult is the better workshop tool with extra functionality for the hicas, aircon and other areas.

Datalog Screenshots Info
1st screenshot would be before its fully warmed up. so looking at 2nd screen shot : RPM is ok TPS is ok Timing is ok battery - a little low, indicates possible alternator or battery problem Swap one of the other gauges for o2 sensor RH, so you have both o2 sensors showing. Lift the revs and hold at around 2000rpm, check that both o2 sensors move continously up and down the range, at the same speed.

thinking about a uk spec this time
I would'nt say definatly cheaper to run and more reliable either. Potentially more reliable yes, but not for certain. Apart from Turbo's themselves everything else is pretty much the same. The NA has less heat under the engine bay, but thats traded off against how the NA tends to get a harder thrashing than the TT, requireing more Revs and gear changes to get the best out of it. The NA is marginally more economical around town in everyday driving, but uses more on the motorway at cruising speed than the TT (TT not in boost and running lower compression). However a well looked after NA or TT are both reliable and well built.
