    The an Auto NA is not the ideal combination for performance, but you should be able to outrun most hothatches and sport saloons up to 2.5 litre. I dont think they ever officially tested the NA auto, but I expect 0-60 is going to be around mid 7secs.

Blue (aftermarket) looks best Black was always my favourite stock colour, however its such a pig to keep clean and when its gets even remotely dirty it becomes the worse looking colour, but when its clean its great. I've become fond of Silver since buying the Missus's N/A, it really shows off the lines nicely, but hers is an aftermarket silver thats brighter and has a more pearlescent tint.

    For the SW members too far from South central...how about either a Bristol/glouc meet...or a South somerset/Devon meet for either : Sun 9th (very close) Sun 16th Sun 23rd Thanks to those that have made suggestions, but others have'nt replied so lets hear some agreements. Its pretty disheatening to repeatly put posts up asking what you want to do, then arranging a meet and hardly anybody turns up.

    We have a south central meet approching soon (Beulieu (spelt wrong, but its late and I cant be bothered to look it up) joint SE/SW meet) I'd be happy to organise another meet though, perhaps close to Stone henge, for its relative SW/South Central location and Nice scenery ?

  10. Light or heavy the zed will have no problem with a E30 325i from standstill. A 0-60 time of 5 secs compared to 8 secs. The only problem with a properly running zed is getting traction of the line, you can spin them up in 1st, 2nd and in 3rd if your not carefull. If traction was'nt the issue, then do an ECU test as your almost certainly down on power.

    Sounds like loose temp sensor connector. Warm up is about average for any car. If it takes longer than your used to warm up then its probably sticking thermostat.
  17. Power delivery on the zed will be a lot smoother than a single big turbo'd, smaller engined car, but you'll certainly know if its working or not ! What does the boost gauge do ?
  18. With crap tyres on the rear you will find 1st and 2nd gear completly useless, even in the dry and you'd get beaten my grannies in Rovers around corners ;)
  19. 32 front is fine, but rear should be higher. 34-36
  20. need to give more detail.....explain the noise and where does it come from, does it change with revs/speed, does it do it when stationary..etc.
  21. The reason its pi55ed people off, is becuase its a hugely public slating. Big difference between slating cars of on a forum, and in a national publication. p.s if you did'nt like the zed handling why did you buy an inferiior handling car ? :p
  22. Suprised you had that much trouble with braking. Stock brakes are not bad (although ofcourse better on the street, than the track like all stock brakes), and the cause for most complaints are becuase half the zed's driving around have seized pistons and fluid way past its use by date. Were they performing adequately at first, and progressively got worse ? Brake fade is down to either overheated pads, or overheated fliud. If the pedal remained firm but brakes faded then the pads were over there maximum heat rating. If the pedal was getting softer then its boiled fluid(in which case you must now replace the fluid).
  23. The best type are Round black ones :D Goodyear F1 GSD3's is a firm favourite with most. The Toyo T1-S / T1-R gets mixed opinions Falken 451's have had some good reviews on the zed as a cheaper option. Tyre choice make a world of difference on a 300zx, vastly affecting handling, acceleration and Braking
  24. Excellent ! Something I fully intend to do also OEM wheels wont fit around GTR brakes?
