Anyone been flooded out yet?
Had a call yesterday from my rather distraught sister (whe lives in my hometown of Thatcham in Berkshire.) to say her house has been flooded, 2ft high water in every room....and the dog was attempting to swip its way to freedeom. Neigbours rear garden furnitures littering the street, firecrew everywhere. Chaos by the sounds of it. Pretty much the entire town shutdown.

Seat Weight
Cobra Imola S - Bucket seats. I went for bucket seats becuase of the massive weight saving advantage much lighter and I have no need for reclining. They are also FIA Approved. They are suprisingly comfy, but I selected them becuase they suited my shape and seating position, its definatly a case of try before you buy when selecting a bucket seat. With a Recliner you ofcourse have the adjustbality make them more of a "one seat fits all £250 is a great price for pair of leather sports recliners. I've sat in a few of the Leather recaro styles fitted in a few zed owners cars and they were pretty good, although not quite as good as the genuine leather recaro's. Not great pics, and parts of my interior was removed at time for retrimming but get the idea: They match the Paint pretty well too :)

Urgent Help Required - PLEASE!!!
There is no required set startup process. It should work anyway, do you have local Zed owners you can test your Datascan on ? .....just to rule out possible Consult plug problems What happens when you click the connect button ?

wanna go faster........
You can replace the standard Airbox (situated under the nose panel inbetween the headlights) with an Aftermarket cone style air filter (induction kit), the most popular being the Apexi Power Intake. Exhaust wise - Catback Stainless steel Exhausts sytem will free up a few more horses. They wont make a lot of difference, but they help free up the cars breathing for further modifications, as well as making the car more pleasing to your ears. You can get the ECU chipped with upgraded ECU Maps, most of our traders can supply for around the £75-£150 figure. Once done you can safely increase the Turbo boost pressure from the stick 9.5psi to 13/14psi with either Boost jets (search for more info) or an Electronic boost controller.

Urgent Help Required - PLEASE!!!
I would of suggested PTU...but since you have a S2 then extremely doubtfull. Unfortunatly water can permantly damage a MAF. Perform an ECu test using the old fashioned method to check for errors. Sounds like using USB version of Datascan, if its been unplugged and you you've had other uSB deviced plugged in then the Port number will be different when you plug it in next and you have to enter correct port number in datascan. This does not affect serial version.

gets cold under acceleration
Common issue - as you accelerate the engine movement cause poor connetion with the loose temp sender connector.

Anyone got these?
If the brake lense was kept red instead of clear, and added the extra leds to the sides to make the light rounded like Funkysi says then I would buy them and pay more than that for them ! ....and even more if they used genuine 99spec lights. ..and no you cant get that from led bayonet bulbs. You can see every led light up inside all the way to the edges, it makes a big difference.

JWT or BLITZ chipped ECU?
JWT is a fairly mild setup. nice and safe. Not seen the blitz before. I'd highly recomend a chip from John Dixon instead.

Youth of today....
its worse when you get kids trying to compare it to a Impreza....all the media hype have put the bloody thing on a pedestal for anyone who knows sod all about cars ! I watched a TV prog about a year back where people were asked to match the car to the owner. There was a Bmw X5, Merc S-class, Porsche boxter, Impreza and some regular stuff like golf, volvo....etc There was this girl in her late teens who when guessing the owner for the Impreza, selected this armani suited guy because she said he looked the Richest one there so had to own the impreza LOL

auto box f*cked.. manual convertion ???
Have you run the Gearbox ECU test to check for error codes- http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnettech/autodiag/autodiag.html Manual conversion kit typically cost around £700-£800 (although you may want to invest in a new Clutch at same time)...ask the Specialist garages or check out anyone breaking a Manual TT

Drag Question..
what is it, the Seat Leon Cupra R 1.8T which has stock 225hp and can be chipped and decatted for about the figures you mentioned. ? If so, its stock 0-60 is high 6 secs, the power increase may but put in the low 6 secs but a 350hp Manual TT 300zx will do 0-60 in the high 4's to low 5's I'd be suprised if he had you off the line at all ! There not that much lighter and its FWD wont help, plus although its peak power might not be that far of yours, its low down power and power spread cant compare. If he has the non "R" version then he must of spent a lot of money getting that power up! - results would be same.

I wondered how they would tell it was my account they overpaid into....as there would of been dozens(hundreds?) of people paying in cash that day. Depends how often the money is counted I guess to determine in which time period it occured ?
