  1. Yep, not an MOT requirement.....although would disagee about "poverty look",IMO it definalty looks much nicer without, a much cleaner look. I have a plan for my redundant rear wiper switch.
  2. This weekend ? You missed the I.O.W zed meet ! There were 8 of us over there, plus we by chance met up with the owner of the Black zed with round rear lights when he passed the pub we were all in. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=99966

Had a great weekend, cheers Scotty and thanks to all. Good to see some familiar faces and Nice to meet those I had'nt already. I took 115 pics  and some video (gave me something to do with not having my zed there  ) so will sort them out and post up.
  4. LOL I've done that before. I also had a set of clipper fail on me half way through....had to get out the Razors
  5. AIV was dropped (from about 93/94 on) ......I dont believe the EGR was though.
  6. Cant stand the standard amber rear lights, really spoil the rear end. Caravan lights are one way to get rid of them but IMO very few zeds suit them. 99spec lights are
  7. Sounds good, will look into something similar. Cheers
  8. Thanks Mick, it certainly looks a lot different to when I first got it. Not sure on the Wheel make, I got it from a friend, but its 320mm which makes it feel like a go-kart but you cant see half of your speedo LOL

...and Anna See you at 5:30am :headvswal
  10. There are over 70 names down for this now # Its next weekend
  11. I had one of those for another car....never got around to having it cut though, it was ok, a bit on the cheap "feel" side. There are other versions on ebay that look better quality
  12. Its a 5" long bolt that goes through from the front to the back with a nut on the back. If nut missing then best to remove bolt and match it up with a nut and large washer.
  13. I would try speaking to http://www.dta-motorsport.com Mainland europes bigggest Z32 specialist, located in Holland.....bound to have some LHD headlights about or know where to get them from.

  15. Like that. Nice install  Yeh, definatly. Was'nt keen on the standard silver, plus its more discreet in black. in...as in behind vent ? any pics ?
  16. Greddy Profec E-01 - Looking for a better mounting solution...hoping to avoid any extensive fabrication.....but anyone with a Profec E-01 have a better place to put it ?? Currently :
  17. Some of our Traders should be able to supply. They pop up on ebay too. Just realised your thread title says fuel pressure, but your post says oil pressure. I was referring to oil pressure.
  18. You should have got a pressure sender with the gauge ? Post people purchase a Sandwich plate also, that fits between the Oil filter and oil pick up which the sender screws into.
  19. Mick, Im suprised to hear your getting rubbing with stock suspension....however looking at your sig pic I would say your car is already lowered (unless your springs are severaly sagging).
  20. Ideally yes (I would'nt recomend running that much boost on stock chip). Most of the forum traders can supply Chip for around £75-£125 and you will get the most out of the boost increase with the chip as well as ensuring safe fuelling so does'nt make any sense not to really.
  21. lol Yeh, sorry meant profec B spec II .......should be :
  22. Forget Manual controllers. You can do it cheap (and actually pretty effectively) with Boost jets. Which are Mig welding tips inserted into the Wastegate pipes. 1.0mm will give you roughtly 13/14psi Electronic boost controllers - Greddy Profec E-01 although getting a little old skool now is a superb piece of kit although a bit on the large side and OTT for some. The Greddy profec E-01 is cheaper and gets the job done and sits nicely in place of your Standard time clock position. The Blitz SBC range are good - SBC-id 3 or the Color version. AVC-R is nice looking bit of kit. I have the E-01 myself, as I like all the bells and whistles, and I have water temp and oil pressure all connected up to it so no need for other gauges.
  23. Car will steer fine without power steering, albeit heavy......if you need to use the car and cant repair yet then I would cut the belt, but it will be a nightmare to park. Take a look though, could be an easy hose repair. If you leave it as it is the pump will run completely dry and it will be time for a new one.
  24. You'll most likely need the inner and outer sills replaced, both available from Nissan or MJP. To cut out old sills, weld in new sills and cut out all other rust and then full blowover repsray I'd say you were looking at about £2k - But Bodyshop prices vary a lot.
  25. Pentroof yes, but not "new" since this thread is over 3 years old
