EGR Questions - Did nissan drop the EGR in the later model Zeds??

Hey guys just wanting some info on the later model zeds in regards to the EGR. Ive read on the aus forums about the EGR being dropped by nissan in the later model zeds but is this true?? and if so why did they Dropped it???

 

Does anyone also known if it was dropped what did nissan do without the EGR in place???

    It was still on the '96 models so I presume it carried on to the end.

    AIV was dropped (from about 93/94 on) ......I dont believe the EGR was though.

    sweet thanx guys, im glad to hear that as its a bitch to get out if the engine is alreadfy out of the car.
