  1. Check power supply to and from the PTU, each wire (1 will be earth) and to the actual coilpacks with engine cranking, that will help diagnose problem area. Check ECU plug is firmly in place, also check the BIG plug up above the ECU that feeds power to the EFI loom. Have you checked all cylinders for spark ?

budget for around 20%-25% on top. Vat being 17.5% the rest being made up from Import duty. Unless you can get away with the seller claiming the item is worth much less on the import documents.

yep, LHD EFI Loom is what everyone fits here :) You just have some extra length of loom that you put under the battery tray and may have to cut one of the plastic shields a little to allow part of it to stretch to the other side of bay.
  4. Yep, its SWB only Window washer bottle. (Instead of being under the bonnet)
  5. It does the same as it did yesterday ;)http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=101541

  8. Is this fitted yet, would love to see pics
  9. 2 adults , 4 kids - you need a 7 seater !? and there'nt any "performance" orientated fun to come from them. Keep the zed as a toy and get a 7 seater family car ?
  10. Replacment recircs needed. Oil coolers - 19row is most popular choice from big brand names such as Mocal. Fairly easy to install, its just a case of bolting them in behind nose panel and reconnecting up the oil pipes.

Wheel trim:T2 Inducer dia: 1.57"/40mm Exducer dia: 2.02"/51mm Housing:TB22 CFM: 304 max Wheel trim:T22 69 Exducer dia: 1.53"/38.9mm Inducer dia: 1.85"/47mm Flange style, Housing size: T25
  12. All Racing drivers have an arrogance, wether it always show to the public eye or not...same for anyone at the top of there game in any field. Im sure we all know plenty of people in our own lives who are a lot more arrogant with a lot less reasons to be so.
  13. I thought you meant Niss-tek (SE Nissan), the well known 300zx specialist, ran by Peter rosenburg that shut down in 2005 and did'nt know about them closing..........but looks like this is a different company just with very similar name. was'nt calling you a liar was just trying to help Make him Pay for new ! :D
  14. niss-tec closed down a long time ago
  15. Really need to get it up in the air.....oil may be dripping from the sump...but it could be making its way down all the way from the rocker cover gaskets or turbo oil feeds
  16. there never take me alive !
  17. Cambelt is due for replacment as part of the 60k mile service schedule. The easy answer is - yes, generally the Japs look after there motors with strict servicing. However......unless you have proof that the mileage is genuine.....then you never know how long ago it "should" of been replaced and If it is genuine then it probably went up for sale before the 60k mark to avoid cambelt replacement costs. Its not going to suddenly snap on you when it hits 60,000 miles though but if unknown its best to get is changed with a full 60k service when you can.
  18. Buy from an Auctions. You can get what would normally be a £1500 car in any for sale advert for around £500
  19. Yep, you only looking at around £100 for the benefit of Improved Fueling and timing maps, increased rev limiter, derestricted speed limiter. It will be safer and faster with a Chipped ECU.
  20. Most common problem for poor headlighting on the zed is dirty inner lenses...although normally HID's still make a huge difference...depends on just how dirty I guess. Although out of interest which Colour temp are they - 4300, 6000, 8000, 1000 ..etc ?
  21. Well said Rich, its great to get out and meet other owners and there cars and the Z convoys are a sight to behold
  22. You should have the small green part left of the V5? the bit you keep at the bottom of the V5....you can tax it with that.
  23. Do phone operators offer a blocking service, so you can block all calls/texts from that number to your phone ?
