  3. Just a fibreglass shell though ? and is'nt it a space frame chassis underneath ?
  4. Yeh, I would of expected that to be behind the panel under the steering wheel.
  5. SXOC - 220'ish new posts in the last hour:eek: 300zx.co.uk - 20'ish new posts in last hour :( (most of them from me lol)
  6. Nissan never put a LWB slicktop into production. 100% on that. I dont believe they ever attempted a prototype version either.
  7. I'd say they were from a aftermarket turbo timer or aftermarket boost controller that was once fitted, but removed before you got it.
  8. 1. Not sure...I'll need to compare with another zed....could check tomorrow if nobody else knows before then 2. Looks like Turbo timer (or boost controller) Ignition harness 3. Thats the Buzzer/Chimer that sits behind the Speedo thats been removed 4.
  9. Im out of work and "seeking new employment" since the New year. :( Which means I have all this extra time to plan new ways of spending money on the zed....but less money ( make that no money) to actually spend on it in meantime. !
  10. Whats with the ancient sig Marcus Rubbish ! , Youv'e got a nice example :) I do like Clean White Zed's ....that reminds me, I got loads of pics from the IOW meet that I never put up, inc your car.
  11. If short on funds I would leave it for now and change afterwards if it becomes a problem with engine replaced, but since one of the more common reliablity issues is engine wiring is nice to have a fresh loom in there to work with. Its a little easier with no engine, as only complicated bit is getting the loom through the firewall, but its still ok with engine in place. You'll need to remove glovebox and air ducting to make things easier.
  12. ....in fact, its getting more and more quiet each day :( Has Everyone sold up and moved on or are you all working so hard to pay zed bills that there is no forum time left
  13. Yes it can be changed with engine in place, and I would recomend changing it if your existing loom is feeling brittle and you have broken and/or corroded connectors....you can just replace all the connectors , but its not uncommon for the loom itself to have breaks within.
