  1. Yep, dont risk it without reserve. Most car auction buyers are dealers there to buy nearly new cars, and anything older will often get ignored...but occasionally something interesting will get attention.
  2. Si's is a 92 Manual TT with Advan Siena alloys, smoothed bumpers and 99spec extra, he is preparing for a full leather retrim at the moment. Its already an exemplory z32 but once he's done the retrim and completed his suspension overhaul plans it will certaintly be a top notch example well worth a high premium. Here is his rides section - http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/vbgarage.php?do=view&id=6029

    I hope your ashamed !
  8. Sure is...even Mac's been online ! :D
  9. so it is a goodridge inconsistency ?
  10. I cant recall seeing a difference in brake line fittings on any calipers, I've got 3 or 4 sets lieing around in the garage, will check tomorrow if any I have are different.
  11. Fitting aftermarket seats is a PITA !
  12. I have a pair of Cobra Imola FIA bucket seats, but thats becuase I need them for their weight loss and extra support & safety in competion.....if the car is to be used solely for the road I would stick to retrimmed stock seats.
  13. Im nitpicking I know, but you missed it on previous page ;)
  14. Wise advise for 1st time buyers. Although in Malkie300zx's case this is the 3rd zed he's buying this year (previous 2 were TT's) , he has a bit of an addiction to buying and selling them LOL
  15. So Goodridge have had a consitency problem...certain batches with incorrect fittings ?
  16. Problem with the j-tuner event was that there was'nt a lot of notice. The GTO's were the clubs high powered tuned examples, whereas the zed's that went along were'nt.
  17. Never been one for Blinged or coloured bays but that is a work of art
  18. Yep good to see people spending money on the suspension (dont forget brakes!). Far too many spend there budget on power or looks, leaving a tired chassis underneath.
  19. Yep, the JWT copy(that zedworld uses) chip does away with the safety maps, one of the reasons Im not a fan of it, its also far from the best performer. JD's chips retain the safety maps and are mapped for a broad power band. I dont have any experience with Andyp's chips, but they have good reviews. I've fitted well over a dozen JD chips in Different zed's, and there must be another 50 or so members here with the same, I've never had issues with mid range over or under fueling. Did you discuss with JD ? Your best option IMO is to book a session with John to map it properly with his Wideband A/F monitor or on the rollers with him at Thor.
  20. I was joking ;) My Honda HR-V has them too...except they are the size if Truck Mirrors, pretty comical when these great big things start flapping in and out
  21. Not quite, but Its probably best if I dont mention names LOL Spending money on the wrong areas's and using cheap parts are the main reasons.
  22. Nope....one of the best things about Zed's that :D LOL
  23. Any pics of the original one, im curious. When I drove Lisa's did it have it fitted ?
  24. Absolutely, all depends on condition/previous owners. The nicest I've driven in terms of how modern and smooth it felt was a Standard 94 Jap SWB TT auto. Owned by a famous millionaire who says he's had everything from Ferrari's to Porshes and that the Zed is the best of the lot ! I've driven some seriously rough UK and Jap examples that were awfull to drive, nothing in particular at fault, just nothing felt right. If any of them were the first zed I'd ever driven they would of put me of them for life! The same goes for a few examples that have had a lot of money spent on them...look great...drive terrible.
