All have same sound deadening (except after 94 where Nissan started skimping on costs). Nearly all have Cruise control. All the wheels are the same and leather (with or without cruise), unless there was some extremely rare plastic option that I've not seen ?

In my experience every zed feels different, in some way or another, and its all down to condition, nothing to do with Jap vs UK (comparing regular TT 2+2) Although in regards to door sound....your talking about S1 Jap which means Seat belts on the doors with upper mounting points, comapred to belts on the pillars and that does make a difference. I would personally take a Jap over a UK anyday, but besides the obvious corrosion issues thats becuase the best Zed's are Jap - SWB's, Slicktops, Verts (Best looking, best to drive, rarer examples, later years). :D

Finally
Also depends on wether they let you keep it, I had heard they were clamping down on being able to buy them back.

Finally
As said, all depends on damage. Have seen 300zx's written of for nothing more than a scratched bumper before.

which ECU??
Mines ECU is just a std ECU with a Mines chip. Zedworld use JWT maps I believe. Pretty rich and safe. Would not be the reason for your problems. I would personally go with a John Dixon or AndyP chip over anything else, short of a fully standalone ECU and full rolling road mapping session.

UK TT Manual......if it has absolutly no rust at all, then its worth the same as a Jspec 2+2, otherwise less. Rust - Give the Sills a thorough inspection, particular where they meet the rear arches. They tend to rot from the inside out, so any visible rust can mean its worse than it looks. Also check engine bay for rust around the Shock mount areas, particualy weld points. Ensure it has Service history for 60k service, inc waterpump. Check history for any suspenion component replacements, shocks, springs and bushes will be well past there lifetime by now. Value all depends on condition, but a Manual is going to be worth as much as £1k more than a similar Auto. Prices are rock bottom unfortunatly. Plain, average condition, stock example fetches very little money these days, and its only the more unique or exemplory examples that are worth any premium these days.

Opinions On A Change Of Front End Please
Yeh, go for the Chin spoiler that Zcentre does for the Strosek bumper.

mid pipes.
I can only presume Luke has put that becuase of Vosa regulations on Catalytic convertors. They will fit later than 92 , but wont be "legal"

Sequential Gear Box conversion
Yes, still need clutch....but thats not a problem....the advantage is no missed gear changes, and quicker shifting even with clutch.

Power Steering pump HELP PLEASE!!!
Its most likely one of the numerous PAS/Hicas pipes running from the reseviour to hicas solenoid, to pump and then rack. Running the pump dry will damage it, . If you have to drive it, then best option would be to cut the PAS belt off.

A FMIC is not the answer.....larger SMIC's would be. Those ebay intercoolers, while larger than stock are still less than half the size of other SMIC options. However I also suspect that if the Dyno only has one large Front cooling fan then its not going to cool a SMIC setup correctly, so the I/C are probably more efficient than you think and intake temps would be lower on the road.

Sequential Gear Box conversion
Love it !! Unfortunatly I've enquired and they have no intentions of manufacturing a Z32 setup and there existing products can not be altered to fit (according to them). Not sure I would want to spend £750 and try and hack it onto the z32 in the hope it would be possible

Agreed 1/4 mile Top speed Around a race track There are cars on here that I have no doubt would kill others in a drag race...but would get eaten alive around a circuit. There are some well known capable examples : Mac 1 CJ Machine's Pentroof Paul300zxzx old red slicktop (where did it go?) Markzx Jaffa Boomin32 Bebuche ChrisC And there are quite a few in the pipeline..... Slick pete, Mine, Jaffaz32, John Dixon, Deve8uk (apologies if I missed anyone out...just what i could remember of top of my head)

AUTO BOX "HOLD" and "CRUISE" Question for the savvy
Is this when pulling away...if so it will be becuae its pulling away in 2nd gear rather than 1st
-
AUTO BOX "HOLD" and "CRUISE" Question for the savvy
HOLD does not affect power or fuel consumption. It simply keeps keeps the car in 2nd gear when pulling away for ice/snow conditions. You should not drive the car with hold continously on. All aftermarket steering wheels require aftermarket hubs, and you can get hubs that have cruise control buttons on them. I believe Danny @ DTA may have imported these before. Turbos are not sequential. They are 2 small turbos that run at the same time.

Interesting Turbo Setup..
Nice custom pipework & welding. Good to see it done, I only know of 2 other "successfull "single turbo setups and very little pics or info on them. No intercooler and Meth injection is interesting. "Ice cold" charge temps at 25psi 613rwhp - Not bad. Bit of a drag queen though.

tyre wear ?
Sagging springs and worn arm bushings im afraid.

99 Spec - Here's one in Japan
Supercar., Hypercar....You cant class any particular car as being either as they are both just media invented labels with no rules on selection, both the 300zx and NSX were labeled as supercars by the media when they were releaed......wether anyone wants to class them as such - who gives a ****. The 300zx is a Sports car or GT, depending on configuration. The SWB Manual is more of a sports car, and the LWB auto is more a GT.

TT Engine Rebuild
Headgasket failure. Very approx costs : Labour to Remove and refit engine - £600 New headgasket set - £150 Labour to strip and remove heads - £200 Engineering shop labour to Pressure test and resurface heads - £200 If you want to replace rings, full gasket set and bottom end bearings then budget for an extra £300-£400 Its also an ideal time for 60k service (if not already done), and to get the turbos inspected. There is a good chance you may require a new EFI loom as they become very brittle with age and when removed and refitted they often have broken connections.
