  1. Happy Birthday Anna :nana2:
  2. Your looking at the RPS Max Street TT clutch - smithy/dta supplies. Make sure you get the Venoms flowtested and fit new oem o-rings. Speak to John Dixon about a chip, but with that setup your best bet is to get him to produce a running in map, then book a session with him and a rolling road to map it properly. I would also consider lightweight Crank pulley, Lightweight flywheel, Lightweight one piece prop. I would seriously look into getting your Suspension and Brakes uprated either at same time as, or before you go for the power upgrade.
  3. You do have aircon - Its Digital Climate control with aircon.
  4. Nothing to agree/disagree with...its fact ;) :p Ofcourse the larger you go the more unsprung weight your adding, and the further outtowards the cirumference the weight is positioned. Thats why High quality lightweight wheels are so important, far to many cheap designer wheels being used out there. The Z32 like other Jap cars of that era came with 16's becuase of tyre profile limitations/regulations in Japan(same reason imports have smaller rear wheels than UK spec). Going to a +2 (18") on the Z32 is an ideal setup IMO.
  5. The smaller tyre side wall on larger wheels actually increases "feel" and "response".
  6. yep, standard Series 1 UK. All UK cars had the belts on the pillars and 3 point rears.
  7. Whats the car suspension setup spec so far and what tyres does it have ? You want to reduce understeer and sharpen up the steering - Uprated Suspension, Adjustable Anti-roll bars, Adjustable arms, Polyeurothene steering rack bushes and Solid steering coupler dampner and then a proper laser alignment. The Polybushes and solid steering coupler dampner will improve feel.
  8. Night and Day difference.....in fact there is a massive difference a between a Stock good condition TT....and a stock good condition TT with NEW stock suspension. The KYB AGX & Eibach setup is great for the road. ..and as for sticking with modern sports car, look here for example of how well a Zed can do with the right setup : http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=94644l it eats Tuned Porshe GT3's and other Expensive and more powerfull cars around the track
  9. I believe they are speaking with Zcentre about incluidng 99spec spoiler in the deal. Dave, You should get a lot more interest from 99spec buyers than standard replica buyers.
  10. most people dislike the stock spoiler tbh
  11. no, became optional.
  12. do a forum search for "datascan"
  13. Too bloody heavy ! Especially when you got one on your back and its fliud is pissing all down your back LOL
  14. Definatly GT4 over prelude imo. 4WD vs FWD and turbo tunablity. I had a 92 ST185 GT4 several years back. The Imports are about 225hp standard and pretty easy/cheap to get closer to 300hp
  15. Its crankcase breather..., best bet is to put some loctite on it and knock it back in gently with a hammer
  16. Apexi Induction Kit - DTA Motorsport (see traders forum section of this site) the Air flow sensor/MAF is going to cost you over £500 new Im afraid, but they are available 2nd hand for around £100, put up a wanted thread. Connection corrosion is very common and can usually just be cleaned up.
  17. Check for :
  18. p.s Obviously Blue should be the winner though !
  19. Red used to be most common colour for zeds in the UK, now its black ! In 2005 Red was by far the winner on this poll.....and now its been resurected Black has caught up. Reason why - becuase red was a popular UK-spec option but UK cars are slowly dissapearing onto the scrap heaps, and Black was a popular jap option.
  20. Depends what you want from the car - Celica GT4 - is the fastest and most sporty option, well built and reliable too. - Soarer - is big fat luxury. Good build quality and reliablity. - Zed - is decent sports tourers in NA auto form - GTO - is also a decent sports tourer but more of a lard arse and even more of a pig to work on than the Zed and im not keen on its plasticky interior or exterior. - Prelude - I dont have much of an opinion on the Prelude, supposed to be a decent car though.
  21. NA Auto Missing pipe for Clutch Booster and Pipe for Boost gauge vacumn stuff.
  22. I would'nt of expected the noise difference to be THAT noticable. Check the Exhaust mount that fits onto the back of the gearbox is in properly, if its not, and the exhaust bracket it touching the gearbox or anywhere else on the car body instead that would explain the extra noise.
  23. Here you go : :) http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=70720
  24. 99spec (£300'ish +£40 for 99spec indicators) Stillen (Would have to be imported and is circa £600) Greddy (I believe now discontinued, but there was a company making poly copies)
