  1. you seem to be missing the metal gearbox bracket that the front of the gearbox bolts up the engine with. There are 2 but 1 of them is different for auto and manual.
  2. Looks like you need Clutch kit and a Stainless Steel Hydraulic clutch line. I can label the items on the picture, but not till later when I get home if nobody else does before then.
  3. Bit of a Luxury bruiser rather than a Sports car. Can look good with some styling tweaks.
  4. MMmmmm Slicktop TT manual
  5. ouch ! :( Perfect excuse for a performance rebuild then :)
  6. always thought they are from the mx3
  7. how low was no.6 ?
  8. I've sold about half a dozen sets on sxoc. Typical prices are £100 for front front discs and calipers. £100 for rear discs and calipers. £60 for Brake master cylinder.
  9. You cant get a spark with no plugs ;) :p Remove fuel pump fuse though. Compression tester will show peak until you reset it.
  10. If you only you were a week earlier....Just sold a Brand new set for £75
  11. adding up in my head did'nt go to well there ..I did'nt leave much room there for labour LOL The trouble is when most people go for a rebuild you end up spending a lot more than planned......Once engine is out you might want Turbos checked...and then upgraded, Forged pistons are only a few hundred more than stock rings, ....but then you need engine hone or rebore, may as well fit some bigger injectors...and then you need a new ecu remap how about new efi loom, det sensor....cometic heat gaskets.......then oh dear your very very poor LOL
  12. £500-£600 is typical for engine removal and refit. I would say of the top of my head around £2k to remove, standard rebuild and refit for all parts and labour. That would include Full gasket/seal kit. Piston rings. Bearings. Oil pump. 60k parts. Depends on what is wrong with current engine too. If you want to get the block and heads inspected properly then you would need to budget for additional engineering costs. Sorting out possiblel damage from Overheating, excess boost, oil stavation..etc would put the price up. Contact a few specialists for prices - Andy Duff, Jimmer, Ztech ..etc
  13. Just found some more details on it...looks like it would be launched for commerical vehicles first, and then later on for Cars. I guess wether it catches on or not would be down to lots of things like Road comfort and price. It says the tyres will be "tuned" for your specifiy vehicle, so would;nt be able to sell wheels with tyres anymore..etc Probably wont be any more popular than the runflat tyres.
  14. I think yhey will just be for Large commercial vehicles. Not suitable for Ordinary road cars and definatly not suitable for Performance cars.
  15. Yeh, those pics are just for demonstation of the design. Will look like a normal tyre.
  16. Intersting to see what they are like, can see disadvantages and Im a bit skeptical about its advantages edit: ok, had a read about them and the disadvantages dont really matter as they are only really going to be for Haulage vehicles.
  17. I could never justify spending more than £500 on a ring.....I dont believe you'll ever notice the difference...and even if you could is it worth spending thousands more? She'll stop showing it off to people after a week and lose interest, and nobody will ever pay any attention to it again ! I guess it helps that my wife isn't really into jewelery. She has lost 3 rings now  ...she's not having anymore !
  18. Did it blow cold air out any quicker ?
  19. I believe it will rub no matter what offset you use, a 9.5" wheel is to wide for the front of a 300zx. You will need to do some arch rolling. Are sure they are only available in 9.5", very unusual. I think the only Z32 on here with fronts that big is the beast with its custom wide front arches.
  20. I like the wheels....and the colour (i think)
  21. That would be the Climate control ECU. It will go back in its normal position with the Clutch pedal in place.
  22. Congrats Steve !! Time for a Photochop of Steve with a notepad and pen in a short skirt bending over a desk ! :x:
