Legrath - 2x track time fully booked already ? :( Is the list above not up to date ? only 7 names
  2. Gezz has a One piece lightweight LWB Manual propshaft with NA rear end for sale - http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=121843
  3. Very Very nice ! Loving the gold, is that the Standard Z Gold colour ? Its one of the few colour options limted to the U.S market only, we never got in Europe or Japan.
  4. The shocks dont lower the car, the springs do.
  5. £1k for headgasket change is about right...providing he is having the heads tested and skimmed at the same time. Make no difference wethere its UK or Jap, the cars are identical other than minor spec differences. You can do the HG with the engine in for TT or NA, but its just as labour intensive and potentially more labour intensive as pulling the engine anyway.
  6. Z1 and AMZ both do there 1 piece props in any configuration you require. Mine is a SWB TT Manual prop with NA rear end.
  7. R32 and S13 - Front tension rods Rear Control arms Rear traction rods The R32 GTR Rear diff is also the same (except for ratios) as the Z32 NA Differential. .
  8. You want Boost and Water temp as the 2 most important gauges by far.
  9. Some of the suspension arms are shared between the GTR and SX
  10. Do you have jap clocks with them converted to MPH ? As they make the steering lighter becuase it tricks the ECU into thinking your going slower than you atually are. Also a smaller steering wheel helps.
  11. They are standard replacement shocks (ie uprated dampners), but not coilovers. The standard suspension top plates should fit onto that shock, as long as nothing is broken, I cant tell from the picture. The way they fit on can be found in the online zed manual. The ebay link to springs does'nt work.
  12. Is yours a UK spec car ? Imports have a smaller water pump pulley which makes them a better match to the smaller crank pulley.
  13. Its more 50:50 with 2fast2cool products in my experience. seems to be a quality control issue. The decats pipes are manufactured by Megan Racing and quite a few have had fitment issues, myself included. Pipes had to be heated and bent to get them to clear, the other side was'nt as bad but was still a struggle.
  14. These are a fairly popular upgrade, however I would not recommend fitting one from ebay...they do not have a Timing mark on them ! Plus the woodruff key does not fit properly and you have to grind away part of the pulley to get them to fit! I binned my ebay version becuase of that. If they cant get simple things like that right then I would not trust them being balanced. Danny@DTA does better versions, and there is SGP, Unorthodox..etc The biggest gain from them is engine/throttle response. Qquicker revving and when combined with Lightweight flywheel and lightweight prop the acceleration difference is very noticable. They are a LOT lighter than the Standard crank pulley. 0.6kg vs 3.5kg The other pulleys are not heavy so not worth changing IMO.
  15. LOADS of evidence from sources : 1. the fossil record of change in earlier species 2. the chemical and anatomical similarities of related life forms 3. the geographic distribution of related species 4. the recorded genetic changes in living organisms over many generations and ofcourse there is more to science than just Evolution.
  16. Religion is based on faith without evidence. Science is not a religion.
  17. The Auto engine does boost up 1-200 rpm quicker but you get far more slip from the autobox at the same time, The manual car should feel a lot more responsive. eg. If you were side by side at 40mph in the appropriate gear and both hit the throttle the manual car should instantly pull ahead of the Auto.
  18. Im not sure how you work out what car value you get. My previous car allowance was £450 a month, and that got me a car to value of around £20k I had a company car for about a year, but decided the cash was much better for me and took the extra in my pay packet instead. There are tax implications to taking a company car also.
  19. Gearbox 13row 235mm wide Engine 19row 235mm wide
  20. Looks very nice. How does the slicky feel compared to the lwb ?
  21. If they go into the left side of the ECU and not to the ECU connector loom then that will be switch for a dual map setup.
  22. HSD, I've heard that also....although driftworks do not sell the Sports streets version (above) or the Ultra-lite race version.
  23. only till feb 13th I believe, but I know they do offer regular group buys so bound to be another.
