Which spoiler
https://www.z1motorsports.com/aero-and-body/twinz-design/twinz-design-z32-rear-wing-spoiler-type-and-p-7576.html I personally cant stand the original OEM spoiler. The TwinZ type II though I really like.

Which spoiler
Go with the one you prefer, not what others prefer.

Cheapest option on replacement front shocks please?
:thumbup1: The OEM Fronts are £300 for the pair with VAT and shipping from zcentre. OEM equivalents from Conceptua at £190 a pair shipped : https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-Front-Gas-Shocks-Struts-Shock-Absorbers-For-Z32-300ZX-VG30DETT-4950/132475098216?hash=item1ed8219468:g:SmIAAOSwj1haYNXj&frcectupt=true You can also try your Local Nissan dealer, often a cheaper option than Online retailers for the same OEM parts.

Change engine and tranny conversion auto to manuell.
If you are doing it without a lift, then it can be easier to do the engine and gearbox in one, but you'll need to get the front end up on ramps to give enough clearance. Both options work, just depends how confident you are at lifting the gearbox into place lying on your back under the car.

Does anyone else think Vettel is so up himself he can do no wrong ?
Standard racer excuse. Verstappens reaction to his accident which he was definitely more to blame for, was much worse.

Newbie looking into a Japanese Sports car - Should it be a 300ZX???
They can be tricky to get off the line without spinning up, but even so a decent stock Manual TT is capable of a 5-5.5 second 0-60mph, and into the high 4's for those running the usual standard basic boost mods. Around 2 seconds quicker 0-100mph than the Mountune too. Im sure the Fiesta is fun and nippy through tight twisty lanes though.

Big Power + Big Brakes callout!!
The ST weights about the same as a 2+2 NA, while the RS weighs about the same as a 2+2 TT That braking difference will be down to feel. The 300zx needs more foot pressure and displacement for the same braking effort, as modern cars tend to be over-assisted these days. Actual single stop braking distance is about the same, according to Motortrend tests : 2015 Fosus ST - 108 ft 1990 Nissan 300zx TT - 109 ft ^^ and that small difference will be due to the 15 years of tyre development, not braking technology. (although modern ABS modulation is an improvements over the Z's) I dare say, the 300zx with good condition brakes and suspension, with the same tyres as the Focus will likely have a shorter stopping distance !

JDM dipped beam bulbs???
Unfortunately the light intensity and the initial delay to get up to full brightness on start-up are clear giveaways and something the new MOT regulations state for testers to check for.
-
JDM dipped beam bulbs???
New 2018 rules : Still open to interpretation and opinion though. There is nothing in the rules that clarify how a tester should check if that headlamp is designed and approved for HID bulbs. The old HID headlamp washer requirement issue has now been changed to only apply to 2009 onwards vehicles. For those with HID's, for the sake of 5mins work, its probably best to to just swap them over at MoT time rather than try to argue the point.

Where are they now?
Forgot all about this. Was a good day out ! It was a dual shoot-out against the Mitsubishi GTO owners, who turned up with a load of very highly modified examples.

Suspension Upgrades
On the rear only- 21mm vs 27mm Fronts are the same.
-
Suspension Upgrades
1) You can specify spring rate when ordering on all versions 2) Im not sure Whiteline offer a rear ARB anymore for the Z32. If you want to research ARBs, then they are called "Sway bars" in the U.S

Toyota Supra twin turbo
My housemate paid £10k for his R32 GTR a few years back, it would now easily fetch £25k. (he's done nothing to it to add value).

Toyota Supra twin turbo
£40-80k for an NSX these days

Toyota Supra twin turbo
The mkIII and Z32 are totally different eras. The MkIV was toyota's answer to the Z32, they even delayed its launch for further development after Nissan's launch of the Z32. Z32 ran from 89-2000 MkIV ran from 92-2002 They were direct competitors in every media outlet and I've always found them very comparable cars to drive, with which one is "better" coming down to personal preference.

What oil
Talk about throwing money down the drain. (Hopefully not literally). ...and your favourite oil there is an overpriced Mineral oil, neither semi or fully synthetic.

Good quality clutch for 3-400bhp
Just giving options, since he said the price was steep. 200 lbs more clamping force than stock and has been the go to choice for cars with bolt on mods (~400hp) for as long as I can remember.

Good quality clutch for 3-400bhp
I have the RPS Street Max also, great clutch. Although for the power levels you are looking at you should be good with the cheaper RPS Sport Street clutch - https://specialtyz.com/shop/300zx/clutch-flywheel/sz-sport-street-for-vg30dett-and-vq35s.html

Popular Zeds and where they are now
Other way around. Was owned and built by Greg for many years, before he sold it to Baggins Still has it. Has undergone a very big power Rebuild recently, but still very much a "drift-spec" car.
