  1. you went and viewed it ?
  2. They look shite, I'll do you a favour and swap them with my new wheels. :p Anything to help a fellow Z owner out.
  3. we all know about the Drift stretched look...but this is way beyond that. The Bead must sit inside the lip.
  4. the tyre bead does'nt even touch the wheel lip......how ****ing dumb is that.
  5. Swapping from an AMS crank pulley to a set of Unorthordox pulleys will see no difference whatsoever. The performance increase is all down to the Crank pulley weight difference (and a little down to the diameter decrease). Stock Crank pulley weighs about 5kg, and lightweight crank pulley weighs less than 1kg. A 4kg saving. The other stock pulleys weigh a few grams. No real saving there. Its just bling to swap them.
  6. Boost leal detector tool - http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=1910&Car_Type=300&UID= You'll need an Air Compressor. No need to run more than about 5psi through it to hear leaks. Only taken a brief look, so not read it yet, but that looks like a very informative page.
  7. you lost you reading glasses Si ?  he said Highlights, not headlights lol
  8. I honestly cant fault the iphone 3gs. All others are just phones.
  9. so you should, one of the sexiest wheels ever made.
  10. No. the Disc PCD and centre bore is wrong, so wont fit the hub.
  11. No, thats how UK cars came. No 3rd brake light, just a blanking plate.
  12. What looks good about the E30 and the 240z is the Wheel choice, Wheel stance and Suspension drop. I reckon some people confuse what they like about the rat look, with the Drift/VIP setup they also tend to sport....either that are their mentally retarded.
  13. Not standard feature. To do with Aftermarket Alarm. Late spec Cars with the Standard Remote central locking may also have this ability.
  14. I have a Z1 lightweight prop, I've also fitted the AMZ version to other Z's , and can recommend both. I would reccomend getting a Nismo rear gearbox mount at the same time, becuasing any issues with your current mount (they suffer with sagging) will show more with one piece fitted.
  15. Radiator is ok though. The main reason people fit Electric fan kits is to reduce load on the engine, for performance increases. Usually the fans are not up to the job though, and you have potential overheating issues. No electric fan setup will ever be as good as a properly working stock visouse fan.
  16. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-300ZX-HUGE-ALLOY-RADIATOR-FAN-WITH-FITTINGS_W0QQitemZ120547617431QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item1c1132aa97 ? That Fan is pathetic. Its max 1500cfm.....in comparison the stock viscous fan at full chat will do 6000 cfm !! Removed a similar kits from a Z before becuase it was useless, at idle it took nearly 10misn to bring the temp down just 2 degrees...and then a minute later it would have to come back on to bring it back down again.
  17. Stock Vacuum Peiping : Modified as per mine above :
  18. For the battery Im using a Small Lightweight Dry Cell Race battery, that fits behind one of the Rear boot panels (the one right behind passenger seat). I've ran a 2gauge cable from the Existing Positive battery cable from the Engine bay to the new battery location under the carpet. The Ground is taken directly from the battery location. I really want to relocate my fuse box to where the Battery tray area, but tis going to be a major PITA to do, still deciding. Moving it to the the Aircon area would be a lot easier.....I've not tried it but I heard it can be done with only 2 wires needed extending.
  19. oh and Braided Fuel pipe (gets rid of unneeded extra Fuel pipeing and joints) Another idea I have seen is to run the EFI harness loom that goes to the injectors and Coilpacks underneath the plenum.
  20. Here is what I have done, to you give ideas : removed : AIV (solenoid, pipes) EGR (actuator and pipes) PRVR (solenoid and pipes) Carbon Cannistor Plenum Water Bypass (pipes) Cruise Control (actuator, cable) Hicas (solenoid, hydraulic pipes) Boost Gauge Sensor (sensor, pipes) Boost solenoids (solenoids, pipes) Clutch bleed pipe (replaced with direct master to slave pipe) Relocate : PTU Fuel Filter PAS Resevoir Battery (to boot) Fuse Box - Not complete yet.
  21. I know what you mean, in regards to them both being multispoke style and Si's Advans are very nice, but those BBS LM's give me very naughty thoughts !:drool:
  22. Thumbs up from me. Some of the new whites appearing these days on modern cars really do it for me. That rare late spec Titanium silver (above) is nice too, but go for the White. Although im not sure about the skirts.....I would go Kaminari skirts instead. More Subtle..and well..nicer IMO Im really not a fan of the 89-98 Stock bumper, looks old and really dates the car. The sleek modern 99-front is a great improvement, brings the car up to date, looks so much newer and more expensive. Pinstripe looks bad with the 99front and skirts, mine is already off.
