  1. http://www.plastidip.co.uk, but there are loads of it on Ebay too.
  2. That must be a very special supra.
  3. I pop in once or twice a month, if Im really really bored or if I click by accident. I dont like Z's or their owners, which is why I very rarely post here.
  4. no. As i said above, there is no need to when just looping the pipes.
  5. Plasti-dip spray (Paint with a rubber compound within). You'll need to rub it all back first, then spray. Gives a nice finish.
  6. Sounds good. Nice central location for us southerners  Especially if it was Organised between the other Major Z events Z010 (May 6/7/8) Japfest (May 14) Zedfest (August 20/21/22) JAE (September 10/11/12) There is Le Mans in June, which I guess some will be going to. July seems Quiet?
  7. A little heavier than I would of expected, but then the majority of weighings we've seen have been using public weigh bridges, and wildy innaccurate. Fuel density is 0.73 Kg/L , so you had around 36kg (50 Litres) of fuel on board. What were you individual corner weight figures ? Interested to see how the weight was distributed.
  8. Best method IMO is to get the full NA setup. 2nd best is to route the Hicas pipe back to resevoir as per link and pic above. There is another version that completes the loop at the hicas rack instead of at the Hicas solenoid, but I cant find that one now.
  9. would never of expected to see a xj220 looking like that..... ....but it does appear to just be dust and looking at the roads It could of just got like that in a day or 2 end : just noticed the dents on rear quater :(
  10. what was wrong with them? The missing spacers would cause additional wear and possibly even damage.
  11. The 350z and 370z are far cheaper cars than the 300zx was. Different market, different class.
  12. Prices varied per year. Have seen sales reciepts posted from low 30's right up to 38k
  13. Bypass is perfectly acceptable in my opinion, the det sensor has limited use anyway. but anyway....its more often than not a problem with the loom/connectors rather than the det sensor itself. If your lucky its a corrosion problem with the connector that joins the loom to the sensor and the loom to the ecu. Its located at the rear, centre of the plenum. Has 2 wires going in and 1 wire going out. Its not an engine out job to replace, but you have to remove the upper and lower plenums to get to it. No point relocating. Nissan put it where it is for a reason.
  14. Yes, in fact its very important to fit Adjustable tension rods with solid spherical ball joints when fitting adjustable camber arms. All of the main manufactures put this as a requirement when fitting adjustable camber arms with sealed bearings.
  15. its clearer becuase its new. Other option is to buy 99spec centre, then transfer your EL panel to it.
  16. These guys http://www.greenline.jp/ can probably get them. I've used them a fair bit in the past, one of the few Japanese companies that will will deal direct with overseas customers. Just dont expect a speedy reply though.
  17. Rumour is that the ksport range has received additional development over the d2 brand, how true that is I don't know , but since you experienced a difference in figment per side it sounds like a quality control issue that's been talked about with these Chinese products before.
  18. Like you said you will need to take it off to find the right place to drill but more importantly it needs to be removed to bolt in the seatbelts anyway.
  19. I was going to ask do you have a pic as sounds like they are fitted incorrectly, but yeh sounds like you've found the issue. Without the spacers you have unwanted movement in the link.
  20. Its aftermarket. The Dash has been trimmed in black leather with the logo embossed beneath. Its the same trimmer that has done parts of my interior, very good quality. I saw one he did in cream leather, looked great. I was thinking of having mine done in leather, but without the logo. Its the leather finish that impresses me, instead of the stock plastic.
  21. oh Im not talking about my Z. Im just curious over people's sound preferences. Although im not expecting everyone to have had much experience of both systems.
  22. Other than perhaps a custom alunox system, your veilside is about the best sounding there is. Most dual exits on a Z just dont sound as good. Restriction isn't an issue becuase you only need a diameter of around 3.5" to match the cross-dimensional area of a typical 2.5" dual exit sytem, and most are 4" or even larger. Unfortuantly they just dont look as good, I agree, especially with the stock rear bumper.
