New REO for the South West
Gratz Si :thumbup1:

Possible area changes
This is how it was setup originally when I was REO. It also included Wiltshire, which has since been moved to South central. Although it is such a large region that you have to alternate meet locations between the North and South to try and cater for all.

Tyre Load Index
Load index is based on static load capacity of a fully laden vehicle (rated up to 130mph) 91 Index has a 610kg Load rating. Assuming equal load per tyre (its not, but its close enough) : Stock 300zx LWB TT Auto (Heaviest variant) = 1590kg 4 adult passengers = 350kg Luggage = 100kg =2050kg/4 = 510kg 91 Index tyres is fine. Plus a typical 300zx is far less likely to be fully laden in comparison to your average family estate.

windows info

Wide arch Zed on eBay
Was a very clean and tidy widearch Z when i saw it a few years ago. Pity the current seller cant be bothered to even give it a wash.

What would you pay?
If its on ebay I must be blind. I see a 1996 Manual NA and a 1990 NA Auto, both overpriced, but no 1996 NA Auto.
-
What would you pay?
Im out of touch with 300zx values these days. The NA Auto is the least desirable of the models unfortunately but It does have the low mileage and later model year in its favour. Condition is far more important than mileage with older cars though. Series 2 onwards Digital allows you to control the flow direction. Series 1 does not.

sumthing scary hapened yesterday concerning my zed
LOL I'd forgotten about this one. The good ole days.

TT v NA
I would take a SWB/Slicktop NA Manual over a LWB TT Auto, and it would be faster on the road (stock for stock). The LWB TT Auto is only 263hp, weigh's 160kg more (than the slicktop NA manual), and loses even more power to the rear wheels through the autobox. Plus the slushy nature of autobox delivery compared to a Manual and the responsive nature of the NA engine. I would still take a TT Manual over anything else though.

3point rear seat belts
Yes, quite a few members have done it. All the holes and recesses are there, you need to cut the trim or obtain UK spec rear panels though.

never been so fu#@$ing angry!!!!
****ing insurance companies. Did you send them the same photo's you showed us, becuase there is no Rust showing on those pics in the damaged areas. Have they agreed to send assessor? There is the Insurance ombudsman route to take, I dont know much about it though.

Is it right to disrespect somebody else's personal preference ?
I didn't see the thread in question, nor have I seen your car, but...... yes, if you create a thread with a picture to show of your car on an internet forum then you should expect comments, and wether you will admit it or not that is why people post the pictures. If your car is controversial you shouldn't really be surprised that not all comments are positive. Personally if I don't have anything nice to say then I tend not to say anything at all, but many are not so reserved and some could probably do with winding it in a bit. (I've not seen the thread, but I'm guessing what happened)

howmanyleft.co.uk a great website to see how many cars are left on the roads today
Some imports will show correctly, but the problem is the DVLA completely suck with import registration conformity. For example, I have 2x 300zx V5 documents here, 1 says Nissan Coupe and the other just says Nissan and the model part is blank. Which means neither will show up when you search for the 300zx. This is very common for Imports.

Useless for the 300zx , or any import unfortunatly.

New rare rear light covers
Very rare indeed.

I'm Confused about intercoolers...
Its exactly like a radiator. There are lots of tubes running through the core that carry the hot air from your turbocharger to your Inlet manifold and they are sealed off from the air outside. The finned surfaces provide extra contact surface area for the cool air outside to pass over and cool the hotter air inside. (forced convection)

Finally, I've bought a tablet - why didn't I do it sooner!?

Rear subframe question
I think Jaffa is using an R32 GTR R200 Diff, or at least he was looking into it a while back.
-
Rear subframe question
No, he's saying the Nissan 200sx S14 uses the same Diff as the 300zx NA but with 300zx TT ratios. I've no idea if thats correct, but the R200 is used in various other Nissan vehicles, with various ratios.

Who can make this?
