  1. I took a vid of my engine bay plus a little walk around, just to put closure to this thread . [video=youtube_share;hP1pPawyrYM]
  2. I am building myself another set of headlights and after some searching i am short of some minor things and i just wonder if anybody as them lying about, i could rob off the set i have on the car but i would prefer to have absolute full sets as the one on the car will eventually be sold. I need 1 x rubber bung for the DIPPED beam, this is the one that sits inside the plastic screw on securer, sitting on the lens in the pic. And both please of the tapered squigy length of rubber that sits under the bottom edge of the square headlight rubber and stiffens it up against the front bumper. These are the only pieces i require to complete my project but i would also not mind extra pieces if you have them, like 1 x H1 bulb adaptor for instance ? Please, thank you.
  3. The club should buy them and then hold a charity raffle .
  4. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JDM-Z32-300ZX-Xenon-HID-Front-Head-Lamp-Pair-/171420781671?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27e9798c67
  5. The indicator bulb is offset type only in the genuine 99's all the others are the same throughout the years. Personally i'd of just got a fast flash indicator relay but Si is correct on the tails, they were designed for filament and i have never found much better, the down side is they do get incredibly warm especially if you sit there with your brake on for minutes and this can lead to the bubbling of the inside white paint finish immediately around the bulb, although they're rare and i've got them in mine there are some metal heat/reflectors in some units and can be easily migrated from unit to unit but it's getting hold of them !!
  6. Having had my plenum powder coated so hence losing the TWINTURBO decal, i made a bespoke stainless plinth and then used a NISMO MOTORSPORT decal but i wasn't totally happy with the decal i applied, so when i spotted this front grill badge and after grinding down the fixing lugs i have used this instead, attached with some flexible heat resistant clear silicone. It does in fact get covered 75% with my strut brace but here's a pic just prior to the re-fitting of that.
  7. Tut tut, send her back and this time get a piccy .
  8. And why we're at it ripping you to pieces, consider removing that fog light and instead use your offside reverse light chamber with a 21w red bulb - you can just swap over some wiring and revert back to 2 x white lights if you prefer for the other 364 days.
  9. You also need some new gas struts or has some high viz health and safety guy been round !!
  10. Have the tail lights inserts been chrome sprayed - they look to have been ? You now need your reverse light panel 99 speccing up and to light up red :thumbup1:.
  11. I've seen genuine reverse panels from the USA delivered to the UK for around £80 but you will no doubt be stung for another £20 at least in duties. I did sell a complete 3 piece all genuine set to a forum member for £300, he wanted to bump me down which you can understand but i knew they're rarity 2nd hand and the condition they were in so told him no - he was very happy indeed. The reverse panel was in fact brand new and also had the option of if plugged in would light up red, so this you could argue bumped it up further.
  12. Mine are better :tt2:. I did see some from the USA on ebay about a week, 10 days ago, cannot find them now so expect they were snapped up as they weren't too expensive considering, from memory with some import this and that, they'd of been around certainly approaching 300GBP. If i have a moment this week i will rustle a pair up and see if anybody wants.
  13. That looks 24 inches longer than mine !!
  14. Yes I stand corrected, the H3c is a stumpier bulb at 5mm less - i didn't even know it existed as a HID light bulb option that is !!
  15. 8000k colour is strictly for saxos !! Ignore H3c for HID lights H3 is the only bit you need to look out for. I don't think you'd notice any real difference between 4300 and 5000, up the scale at 6000k does have a very slight blue tinge. Likewise no remarkable difference between 35w and 55w but i would recommend 55w, there is a slight difference in price for a reason.
  16. Don't forget these all are sitting in a moulded plastic insert that ultimately is resting in a box which structure is cardboard......hehehe !! I've always bought the cheap kits and have plenty of spares/extra kits that i can just swap out but in the main they're reliable and your pocket doesn't hurt on failure, those that sell at 'inflated' prices have sourced as Graham as said from the far east anyway. As for 35w against 55w and you can even get higher, you would expect more output the higher you go, personally i'd stick with what my stock is and that's all 55w, 5000k and i use in both fogs and dipped.
  17. If you've got hard pipes and you want the strongest clamps known to man - i offer the full set of 16 required for the job. 10 x 59 - 63mm, these cost roughly £2.50 each to buy. 6 x 68 - 73mm, these larger ones are £3.00 each. So that's approx £40.00 of clamps - looking for £22.50 delivered please. Pic shows them fitted to mine And all cleaned up on the bench ready to ship.
  18. Perhaps BOV's give 200 horses. Si is right on the interior, poor do when a car looks rough on pics, handbrake gaitor is hanging off, carpet needs a vac for an instance. Engine as had loads of money spent he claims - you can see in the pics......how and where ?
  19. I'm up and running with ECUTalk using a Blazt cable .
  20. Without taking mine off and looking which colour is which, from memory one is ignition live, one is ground, one is horn, surely the one remaining is the trigger for the airbag ?
  21. Happy birthday - enjoy :balloon:.
  22. Ok you win Mr Dent !! I must admit I think you're right :cool3:. Before And after/now - much sleeker .
  23. Happy birthday :cool3:.
  24. Actual mine Si, is a late 94 and no boost gauge. I have put one in though without too much bother as the gap meant the balance with the oil gauge was doing my head in.
  25. I too know a Mercedes guy Wavey, I got his number from Dazvert a couple of years, very helpful guy, so if you want it let me know. Hope you're well and I don't think your car changed hands :thumbup1:.
