  1. Nice them Lee. In an ideal world the dipped opening would be a perfect 75mm id but as you state it 'wanders' to 80mm in a place, it's not a problem for those 24 smd halos i have been using as they sit snuggly against at the rear but my next 2 x pairs i am doing i'll be using a diffuser in front, like your ccfl ones have built in, and like you will not be a totally perfect fit but it wont show. Having looked at the 89 stock inserts they have much more sticking out at the top than Dave's do, a good cm or two more overang, so this is why gubbins (technical terminology) are slightly visible at the top. Both areas that the carmad one can improve upon methinks !!
  2. I know many people that are using the XTD ebay clutches including myself without issues, mine is the stage 3 TT one with flywheel. In fact mine was removed and inspected after several 1000 miles and hardly a mark on it.
  3. I paid £5300 for mine 5 and half years ago and don't expect it as devalued one penny in that time. You shouldn't expect to claw back what you spend on them, although it doesn't do their re sale no harm a mod or upgrade here and there. I think you should accept no less than 4 large.
  4. Every man and his dog is going to tell you ignore the miles done as the years are there.......replace, or if you like Russian roulette !!
  5. That's exactly my thoughts, not watched it for a while now, in fact I couldn't give a Stig who presents it .

  11. Bet it was, you in your negligee at that hour !!
  12. It looks like this is capped at £50, but 20% off :thumbup1: methinks many will be searching ebay today !!
  13. In red....did they though Dan, are you staring at them more now than you ever did before. Your others points, no and no. You don't need to warm up headlights all that much for you then to tease the glass away, never heard of this before. As said point the finger at the brackets and bend them a tad and/or use washers here and there, again as said. I have a corner which when it goes in for a full respray needs aligning/bringing up and forward, so in the meantime I have to use a few washers on the front studs.
  14. I have a tiddly amount to pay for and have just trialed this code in........didn't work as i've not spent enough, do we know the minimum spend please ? And if anyone does use it today, can they put amount spent and money knocked off as I may buy this and that, if it's a tremendous discount.
  15. Hey Tom.........all this time I thought I was perhaps a one trick pony but nope, I am now a mechanic as well !!
  16. The only error coming up was code 11 and this turned out to be spot on. Dave did have a spare CAS but it was seized or rather incredibly stiff, I tapped the shaft on the floor and it freed up a bit, I tapped some more and it got even easier. Needing a 'test CAS' this was then fit and voila car works 100%, we tested the problematic fitted when we got there CAS in the hand and got nothing btw. Cleared the codes and now all we got was 55, happy days indeed. The said 'test CAS' will be discarded as the shaft had way too much play, Denty is sending a replacement asap.
  17. We don't like to talk about it Graham but we've picked up bits along the way, our knowledge stems mainly from watching Callum and Dan in action . Team iandy is going to be our a new venture btw, yes you hear it here first, the North West's first mobile Z32 specialist at incredible rates, in fact a 500g pack of bacon gets us there within the hour .
