Find someone that you think you might be able to tell your idea to and get them to sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement). That way, if they do steal your idea you can sue the ass off them. Getting a patent granted is best, though.

If I had some spare cash I'd wait a while until the house repossessions kick in and buy some cheap property. I'm also pretty sure that motorbike sales are going to rise a fair bit.

I wasn't getting religious (I'm an atheist) - Songs of Praise used to have a splash screen advert which had a picture of a candle and TV that was displaying an image of itself to infinity. It was the first time I ever saw the effect.

Make sure you give them instructions if you do that. I had RAC Autoglass replace my windscreen and the muppets prised the trim off and broke a few clips, despite insisting that they knew how to do it.
