Since the last check you did I've had a plenum swap ! Also had the rocker covers powder coated, fuel filter changed, replaced all the vacuum tubes, replaced most Of the oem pipes for new too ! How do you adjust the tps then and I'll start from there ! Also my zed doesn't have an egr I think !

thats exactly the one i looked at but wondered if it was crap as its so cheap ! theres the more expensive one at about 35 on ebay too

i done my bypass a few weeks ago and to be honest it was real easy, buy yourself a new plenum gasket too as likely the old one will tear when you pull it off.

hi folks, looking to get a compression guage, any recomendations ?

Got a hold of conzult and just wanted a knowing member to check out these readings and see if they make sense and if anything needs to be adjusted. I'm still thinking i've got some sort of leak down the passengers side of the engine; i've checked and carefully listened but cannot pinpoint it; seems to be down the back end of the right side of the balance bar - small hissing noise. Anyways heres the pics of conzult.

First off is it a NA or TT ? Have you got the plennum off yet ?

Second that but ready brek has to have loads of sugar on it !

I usually have two bacon butties at work or two scrambled egg rolls with black pepper !

Problem resolved ! Double checked all the cables before the trip home and found that there was a loose injector cable hiding under the drivers side of the balance bar, broken clip on it so it must have shaken loose by the engine vibration. Headed off home just after 5:30 and she purred all the way ! Thanks again for the hints and suggestions !

fairly sure its factory glued; if you do try to heatup and pry them apart be very carefull as if its anything like the boot panel it will fracture easily.

The centre panel or the indicator sections ? You'll find that the indicator parts are also glued on with black silicon sealer to prevent water penetration !

Checked all the cabling and took the zed out to work today and its still spluttering ! Not sure if its a missfire { what does that sound like on a zed ?} Anyways when trying to accelerate i get a drain in power as if the engine id getting choked in some way then it will just come to life for about 30sec or so then do the same. i've filling her up with premium from my local garage so dont think it a fuel issue. Going to book her into get an oil change this week just incase. When i got the tops of the rocker covers powder coated they were covered in a sandy residue inside, i hosed out and wire brushed it all out but i'm hoping i got it all. Car has been running fine for the last month or so then suddenly this happened.

Thats not to say i disrepect peoples jobs, people do what they have to do !

Thats cos i'm the manager and i report to my CEO whos a softy most the time !

I work in an office luckily and don't take shit from no-one !! lol
