Heres a pic of the new nismo cluster i bought from the states ! Set me back £160, but was worth it cos the series 4 clocks differ and I couldn't get a hold of any in the UK that would work ! Only two faults that i could detect with it so far, one is the boost guage dont work and the second is the seatbelt light stays on all the time but i think i'll just pull the bulb on that one !

Not sure where it actually is, just know its in near the drivers side ! think i just got one from vodkashots, but will need to see if theres a loom for it first. Cheers

Wheres the best place to check for the wiring and wheres the sender usually seated ?

Yeh, The previous cluster was factory fitted, just checked the engine bay and the cant see any pipes going to where the sender should be so it likely missing ! Anybody got a pic of the loom or where the sender is actually seated ? Next question would be who's got a sender that they could sell me ? Cheers

Just installed a new nismo guage cluster in my series 4 1996 TT but the boost guage doesn't seem to work. The previous cluster i removed didn't have a boost guage so could there be something missing or disabled that needs to be fixed before it works ?

Yip, Except I spent my money on a series 4 TT ! That's why I said shame !

Looking to replace some damaged spring clips for hoses ! So you would say helicoil is best, can this be done with the plennum still on ? Or would it all have to come off again ?

Cheers guys, Ordered a kit but it hasn't arrived yet ! But looks like its more bad news for my zed as ive got a stripped bolt hole on the right side of the ballance bar; its the front of the three screws that holds down the balance bar to the plennum, whats best to do get it re tapped with a new thread or get it helicoiled ? I've cheated for now and put some gasket sealer round the area for now just so i can drive it to the garage and back along with some tape wrapped arround the bolt to make it thicker and it's holding safely for now. Whats your thoughts, this happened to anybody else ?

I personally think it's too soft a pipe for the job! I bought the same kit not long ago and decided to buy fuel hose instead! Much thicker and less chance of springing a leak !

Then you would be a sucker for doing it!! lol

Just found out that one of the O rings fell out while refitting my balance bar so mine will be 100% too shortly !
