Wife is T total {as much as poss}, and i drink bottles of miller ! I'll drive down in the wifes vw bug (herbie) - long as you don't take the piss outta me when i get there ! Coffee n biscuits will be good while doing the job.

I'll see if I can hitch a ride down on sunday then, we can dismantle this week and rebuild next week when you get the part ! I just have to ask the boss (wife) if i'm free !

Yeh, Theres only two bolts holding the steering column up, three bolts at each side of the main bar and then i think theres two brackets in the middle that come off too. Not much work, sure would come out lots faster with two people on it.

If your going for the dash removal then I've done two in the last two months, I can strip down a dash in less than an hour now I believe !

Both my zeds have been off the road for a month now, Starting to feel that I'm going backwards now! Need to do a cable tuck then refit the plenum, Then new water pipes, vacuum hoses and some other Stuff to fit. Ordered a chrome fuel pipe but it's not been delivered Yet so likely not be road worthy untill next week now!

Consult is the best way to do it, I'd did exactly that with mine! I popped off the needle on mine revved it to 1k then pushed it back on.

Just about to finnish off my engine refurb and going to do an oil change at the weekend ! Whats the best to put in a TT and how much should i expect it to take ?

Looks like a spoke too soon ! Came home with a view to fit the water pipes, I put on my wooly hat and a big warm hoody ready to do some quick sub zero work only to find the pipes are too bloody big, big in that the silicon wall of the pipes is far too thick and you can bairly bend the damb things. O well back to the drawing board !

Well the hoses i bought are fairly high end stuff just to get the best effect ! I got them from ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250469459577&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT likely cheaper options out there but i've used them plenty times before and there hoses are top quality. It was round about 30 bux to get the hoses and clips i needed for the bypass !

Shinny new red silicon pipes arrives today ! I can now do the water bypass properly, hoping to get this done tonight ! Now i know i can safely [touch wood] chop up the harness i might do this too. I'll post some pics on my project page when its done.

Been test fitting the polished plennum and I think I would Like to do a cable tidy while I'm at it ! what i would like to do is split the main harness into two branches that can go down each side of the fuel rails ! doing this would be neat and hide all the cables, is this safe to do ?

Today i tried a test fit of the polished plennum and found one problem ! After the plennum was secured part of the front of the plennum covers the injector plug and you cant connect it properly not without plugging it in first then placing the plennum ontop. Heres the test fit : Is there a way to split the injector cables and run them both sides of the fuel rail under the plennum ?

Gets my vote, it may get the dol queue folks outta there beds n try get some work !
