  5. Fairly easy and when done right there should be no water pipes near the top of the coilpacks ! Follow this guide : http://tech.aus300zx.com/Rear_Water_Hoses/NytWolf_waterhose_replacement.html
  6. Nice zed ! Richard - luv that highlander signature you've got there !!
  7. Problem resolved ! Double checked all the cables before the trip home and found that there was a loose injector cable hiding under the drivers side of the balance bar, broken clip on it so it must have shaken loose by the engine vibration. Headed off home just after 5:30 and she purred all the way ! Thanks again for the hints and suggestions !
  8. fairly sure its factory glued; if you do try to heatup and pry them apart be very carefull as if its anything like the boot panel it will fracture easily.
  9. The centre panel or the indicator sections ? You'll find that the indicator parts are also glued on with black silicon sealer to prevent water penetration !
  10. No probs! Gives a call soon as it comes ill come down and help with the refit !
  11. will do, cheers for the advise again chaps - this is bugging me rotten now as its works fine for the last three months then this happens. thanks again
  12. Checked all the cabling and took the zed out to work today and its still spluttering ! Not sure if its a missfire { what does that sound like on a zed ?} Anyways when trying to accelerate i get a drain in power as if the engine id getting choked in some way then it will just come to life for about 30sec or so then do the same. i've filling her up with premium from my local garage so dont think it a fuel issue. Going to book her into get an oil change this week just incase. When i got the tops of the rocker covers powder coated they were covered in a sandy residue inside, i hosed out and wire brushed it all out but i'm hoping i got it all. Car has been running fine for the last month or so then suddenly this happened.
  13. Thats not to say i disrepect peoples jobs, people do what they have to do !
  14. Thats cos i'm the manager and i report to my CEO whos a softy most the time !
  15. I work in an office luckily and don't take shit from no-one !! lol
  16. lol, my brother has had loads of rovers and swears blind to them; but he's caught in this mythical trap that makes him believe no matter what is wrong with it its only a fiver to fix and that they are completely reliable cars, hes personally owned at least 5 or 6 rover 200 - 240's. Another thing i've noticed about people who have rovers is they must always tell you they have a rover; just like TA people have to tell you there in the TA.
  17. cos its a rover; and rover owners think there the biz to mod.
  18. I used to get anxiety attacks too; when it happened it used to cause my heart to skip a beat here and there! Learned to control it over time and every so often I can use it as a party trick by showing folks to feel my pulse then it skips a beat ! Freaks people out !
  19. So weird seeing that ! As the there all moulds of my 99 spec I gave to carmad to copy !
  20. I recently done a plenum swap too and when the top was off I split the harness so i could do a cable tuck; most the plugs were damaged connector wise on there clips but doing the tuck puts a little tension pulling the plugs downwards and they all seem to stay on fine enough; maybe i need to double check everything just to be sure !
  21. On the way home from helping out zhoodyx on removing his heater matrix my cat warning light came on a few times. I slowed down and the light went off again but i wasn't doing more than 70 and didn't floor it at all at anypoint on the way home. Later on i nipped out to pick up a chinese and the car felt really raspy and felt as if it was choking at idle when i stopped at traffic lights. You think that my cats are on there last life or could there be something else ?
  22. Sounds a great deal; wheres he do the work if he doesn't have a garage ? Surely for best results on spraying jobs you need a clean room or protected wind free area.
  23. Mines been covered up most of the week but took her out yesterday as all the snow and ice in troon has now melted, I think were the only place in the Uk that doesn't have snow now !
  24. wasn't actually expecting him to do the strip down ! but for best work I would prefer as much rubber seals and panels off as poss and would do all that myself with just delivering whats left to be sprayed !
