  1. Right after seeing this thread there seems to be enough interest to try start a group buy on these : http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?171216-RHD-Wiring-Looms-new-from-Wiring-Specialties So I've started to ball rolling and emailed the company on behalf of the club and its members. To get a rough idea can everyone who's interested post your name and loom required and we can try build a group buy on them. Feel free to add any other looms in and we can see if we can get the costs down. Currently they advertise the loom at $475 which is about £308 give or take a few pence, shipping we won't know until they return my email. I'll start : JaiKai : RHD, 95, New Style Injector Type, TT, Manual.
  2. Just emailed them directly so wait and see.
  3. Just another reminder for everyone to be online next Wednesday at 8PM so we can smash our online record ! i'll likely start a countdown on Monday as reminders so we all know were gonna be online.
  4. What he do ? - send you a black mamba or something ?
  5. Its a C13 power lead, Plenty of cheap ones on ebay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2m-UK-Right-Angle-IEC-Power-Lead-C13-Server-Kettle-TV-/170403422553?pt=UK_Computing_Other_Computing_Networking&hash=item27acd5e159
  6. And quick reflexes to push the button !:thumbup1:
  7. That is one large ass for a lady, not been racist or anything but with that ass the repray has to be black, lol
  8. I've fallen into the same trap, thinking I could totally strip mine and rebuild, respray before September, so far it's all stripped but still to take the engine out and do the paint job. if its open to the elements then Mother Nature is on your back but if your own garage with a 4 poster then lots easier. its a doer with dedication and even help from fellow zedders if there bacon butties on the go.
  9. I'm picking up a new breaker at the weekend and looking at the pics I've seen she actually look very appealing. Now its a 91 TT and I've currently got a 96 TT which isn't worse for wear but has a few issues. Currently the 96 I've got has been stripped inside out and all looms removed so it wouldn't be to much work to do a body swap and move everything over to the 91 which happens to be my fav colour off TT silver. The plan if the 91 TT is in good enough condition is do a complete loom swap which will in essence upgrade the older shell. Apart from the HICAS pipes is there anything I should watch out for that was majorly changed between the 91 and 96 versions. I'm picking her up on sunday afternoon so I'll find out then if the project is viable.
  10. Just read that you've already connected it directly. The fact that you mac can still see it yet cannot mount suggests that it maybe a corrupt partition. Can mac's see SMART disk features as if the drive is on its way out the SMART would be reporting it to the system. Follow this guide I've found to find the smart status, if it comes back ok then its a corrupt partition and you'll need recovery software to repair it. http://hints.macworld.com/article.php?story=20031122041138373
  11. Its a Mac hes trying it on. It could be the usb controller on the my book in which case attach it directly to another mac using another usb controller. We use a unit from startech that you just slot the drive into like a cartridge, very easy to use and helps greatly with data recovery.
  12. Check this out ! Its like popcorn with gas canisters, once it starts there's no stopping it till its done. http://www.ebaumsworld.com/media/embed/83418038

  17. On the 31st of July 2012 we reached the current record of online users at 202 people. For a bit of fun I say this year we attempt to break that record.:shifty: So I'm campaigning everyone to get online at the same time on the 31st of July which is a Wednesday. Lets show everyone who's got the most active 300zx club out there.:punk: Ill get some banner made and put into rotation as a reminder but if everyone puts this 31st into there diaries. If everyone gets on about 8pm let's smash our record.
  18. I'm scared for life.:asshole:
  19. Here's a diagram of the power steering system, it's the front most metal pipe I'd like to replace.
  20. It's the one towards the front that passes at the radiator to the right side then drops back down. rips mines out as one side leakes but the metal pipe itself is not the greatest condition. if I could use normal high pressure oil hose then ill just run a new pipe.
  21. I stripped out the AC pipe work, intercoolers and pipework, front wiring harness, and a few other bits and bobs :
  22. Gotta respect yer elders !
