I've found a few issues myself with tapatalk compared to the old forum runner and have reverted to using the main forum. problem is we have the latest version and we can't directly change anything to fix issues on that platform.

That's your browser that's doing that, what your seeing is the translated code for a jpg image. the forums can't generate that by itself.
